OOC: I do know how to play chess, used to actually play competitively when I was a wee lad. But it has been so many years since I last played.

Lambda booted up her old routines. It had been a long time, and she was only programmed with basic moves, but she could still play. She moved the pawn on her far right forward two spaces.

EMily and Winona observed the match between Lambda and Tanner.

OOC: ...Do...do you actually want to play a game of chess @Gear? Cause...that seems like it might be hard...

I move the pawn on my side of the board in the row to the left of the one Lambda moved forward one space.

Jio shakes his head and join EMily and Winona in observing the match. Jin soon joins them.

Lambda moved another pawn forward. "Unkown when this program was last acssesd. Playing ability has probably degraded significantly."

OoC: @Outis No, not really. I thought you were doing it. And you know, attention to detail. But neither of us are really up for it, so it's probably easier to just leave the game on autopilot.

I move a different pawn forward two spaces. "I'll try and go easy on you." I say with a smile.

Four had no idea what was going on in the chess game, so she started wandering around Tanner's ship. She found her way to the HBE-25 Komodo and started looking it over idly.

Lambda looked up at Tanner. "Thank you." She looked at the board, coming up with her next move.

OoC: @Outis So, we're not doing this in detail right? It is getting late for me, and I dont really know how to play.

Jio was basically mystified by the Chess game. Jin had some experience and could at least follow the back on forth, though who was winning wasn't something he could really tell.

OoC: Sounds like a plan. If nothing else, this actually seems like a good coming off point for me, so unless anyone has anything planned they need Laguna or Lambda for, I'll probably just go.

I sit back. "Well you beat me. Good job." I say to Lambda. 'I didn't even let her win.' I think while I smile.

Lambda nodded. It had been quite a mtch, but she had won out in the end. She put the peices back in the box.

"So, this is 'Chess'? I think I'll pass." Jio replies and walks away from the board.

"Well, it was an interesting match..."

OoC: @Slenn Yeah, I'm not that good at Chess. I would like to get better, but you need someone to play with that is either learning with you or can actually teach you. Otherwise, it's just loss after loss.

"Suit yourself." I say to Jio. I put my own pieces away, then go look for Four.

Four was sitting on top of the Komodo, picking some food she missed earlier out of her teeth.
