"You mean... the souls of your warriors have a physical form? And that you take them from the bodies yourselves? How strange. Do they not..." AEanna paused mid-question, a feeling of dread that she couldn't place creeping up on her.

"The Gene-seed is the future of the Chapter. I will say nothing more." Tarkus then motioned over Caim, who began approaching.

OOC: Nope they died passing through the warp which claimed their souls. Hes refferring to the the Gene-seed when he says soul.

The pressence did not seem to come from the outside, but from within AEanna's mind.
From the deepest parts of her phyche it stirred, sending out voiceless wispers wich could not be understood. They were like waves, crashing against a rocky coast.

"They hold the Gene-seed." Tarkus says to Tophat as Caim arrives. "Yes Brother Sergeant." He says. "Watch over your Bretheren." Caim nodded. "At once Brother Sergeant." He stoof with Bolter in hand beside the two fallen marines while Tarkus turned and began walking towards Lysandros.

AEanna began to feel deeply uneasy as the incomprehensible noises echoed through her head. Though she tried to banish it from her thoughts, the sound only became more insistent, rising and falling against her will. She gripped the hilt of her katana until her knuckles turned pale yellow, her eyes screwed shut, taking deep breaths as she tried to will the whispers away.

 

[Kirke]

Tophat noticed AEanna being disturbed, and walks over.
"What's the matter?"

 

[Chungus]

As she closed her eyes, AEanna saw a shapeless cloud. It did not seem to react to her or even move.
However, the wispers intensified, now sounding as if a hundred men were wispering in her ear.

Caim swept his gaze briefly over AEanna before returning to his vigil. Tarkus drew near to Lysandros.

"I do not know." AEanna muttered in repsonse to Tophat. "Something whispers in my mind once again. I cannot understand it, nor can I make it stop. It is beyond my understanding, but is full of malice!" She became increasingly aggravated as she spoke. "I see something. A menacing fog, the voices are growing louder! Stop it!" She shouted at the last part.

Tophat put itself on AEannas head.

[Chungus]

The wispering died down, leaving a unatural, distorded moaning in their place. The sound was far more bonechilling then any mortal being could possibly produce.
The fog still swirled around, unchanging.

OoC @Kirke: Tophat could see and feel what AEanna is expiriencing, but there is no other soul present.

Caim was slightly bothered by AEanna but kept silent.

AEanna pressed her palms against her temples, twisting her fingers into her hair. Her eyes snapped open, hoping against hope that she would no longer see the menacing fog.
"Oh Divines, make it stop!" She pleaded.
