Tarkus stood and recieved the swing, catching the guard of the chainsword. He headbutted Crucian and managed to get his own Chainsword back in the time he created. Crucian removed his helmet and revealed that he bore no skin across his lower left jaw and his fanged teeth could be seen beneath, his eyes slitted like an animals and small horns sprouted from multiple spots across his skull. They collided again. "You end now Chaos Marine. My faith is my shield." They began dueling again, an epic battle of wills as each suffered wounds from the other. Covering each warriors armour with numerous scars and rends and the effort of fighting even became visible upon the two super-human giants.

Sara pointed her sword and had it touch the helmet. She gathered energy and forced it into her sword. With its ability to quantize individual atoms, it was able to give a good readout of the composition and displayed it on a holo-screen.

<color=brown>"This helmet... there's almost no transition metals inside. Most of it is non-metal. Oxygen, silicon, carbon, aluminum.... these are components that you would find in sedimentary stones or ceramics."

OOC: @Ven, hope I got this right. I looked it up on the wiki, and I assume what they're wearing is the ceramite.

Lysandros heard a gunshot and left Caim to go find its source, he found the location his autosenses had detected and found Tophat holding a Chaos Space Marine helmet. "Blackened with the taint of Chaos, I'd drop it." he says.

OOC: Its a mix of a hyper-sturdy metal called adamantium with ceramite plates to reinforce the structure. Close enough I guess XD Fiber wire bundles run through it as it is linked to the wearer. The warp would have changed the build up slightly, horns and other semi-organic growths made of warp esseance would most likely cover it.

"Sweet! You keep working on that, we'll turn this thing into both an awesome weapon and stage!" Eddie said to Yes Man. After examining the amps at the back a bit, he nodded and walked back to the front of the stage to the others.

Caring for one's own life is something I barely understand, let alone the lives of others.
If the marines wish to die, let them. I do not see why you were so insistant on healing the wounded one.

"Huh, could we make more?"
It looks over at Lysandros.
"Just trying to figure out what it is and if we can make it ourself."

OOC: @Ven. Mmmkay, I gotcha.

<color=brown>"Perhaps, Tophat but hold on one second. I'm going to let Gluon 'dig' a bit deeper."

Sara let Gluon go on a bit further.

<color=brown>"Deeper inside, it shows that there is some transition metals in there beneath the ceramic plates. Molybdenum, iron, carbon, magnesium, platinum. Perhaps they are arranged to create a super-alloy. There's also sulfur, potassium, oxygen, carbon, hydrogen.. elements essential for organic growth."

Old habits die hard, I suppose. I trained in the school of Restoration magic that I might be able to save those who suffered terrible injuries both on and off the battlefield. AS for that warrior, I suspect that he did not actually wish to die, but instead wished that he could die in a fitting manner, an honourable death. That is a common wish in Skyrim, and one that I can respect, but slowly bleeding to death on a litter while refusing the help of healers all around you... that is not much different from taking one's own life or dying as a result of one's own foolish actions, as far as I am concerned. There is no honour in that. She watched the others try to make sense of the Chaos helmet, idly swinging one leg back and forth off the edge of the stage.

"I'm going to see if I can scavenge some more from the corpses, perhaps it could be melted and reused."
Tophat walks over to the dead chaos marine and, with great difficulty, starts removing armour plates.

Lysandros restrained his anger. In a slightly calmer tone he said "No, their are no Forge World nearby that I know of and that helmet was a Mark II inferior to the Mark VI and VII in common use by the forces of the Imperium." Lysandros held his wound slightly as it bit into him again. "Power armour cannot be removed either, I am not at liberty to discuss the process but it requires extensive genetic modification and it must be earned by the wearer."

Tarkus spun the Chainsword and took the Chaos marines weapon from his grasp and in the opening rammed his Chainsword into the same spot Caim had been struck. It begun screeching as it tore at the Chaos Marines power armour. Crucian roared and punched Tarkus in the face but could not deter him as the screeching stopped and the Chainsword began to tear into Crucian's flesh.

The plates do not budge, wired into the ancient Black Carapace of the Chaos Marines. A sub-dermal layer of synthesised armour that fixed power armour to the flesh of the wearer.

The strange concept of honour... what one person may find honourable, another finds disgraceful. But what makes one oppinion better then the other?
What gave you the right to disregard the marine his wishes and heal him despite being told not to?

Tophat rammed its sword in a joint in the armour, trying to open it up.
"Though stuff, but it has to be loose somewhere."

<color=brown>"Well, that explains the organic components inside the armor. There should be a point somewhere, like the exoskeleton of a lobster or a crab where we can try and pry it off."

Sara refrained from touching the armor.

Who knows? Perhaps what I did was wrong as far as he is concerned, and if so, then that is unfortunate. But all we can do is try and act as best we can. In any case, my care means that he will be able to fight for his Emperor again, and from what he and his brothers have said so far, I am sure that he will not complain about that. In any case, Lysandros seemed to agree with healing him. Come to think of it, when did the injured one ever express that it was his wish to die? That was his commander!

AEanna chuckled as she watched, hiding her thoughts from the others.
"Perhaps you need a warhammer or pickaxe to break it off, Tophat?"

OoC: Coming in as Laguna.

Laguna streched and got up. He had fallen asleep outside the ship, on a bench. He saw the group, and walked over. "Hey guys."
