AEanna wandered back through the streets of Rome, slowly. Having returned to the camp only to find the area deserted, with even Tanner's ship gone, she had searched frantically for clues as to what had happened, but there were no tracks or signs of a very recent struggle. Now she walked with little purpose, merely wishing to be away from the area. As she walked, she became aware of a distant whining sound, which quickly grew into a roar. She glanced up just in time to see some machine smash into the ground nearby and stumbled back with a yelp of fright.

Roland tosses and turns. Nightmarish possibilities happen, he... he bassically watched things worse then hell happen to his loved ones, faced nightmare that would drive most men mad.
Subconsciously, Roland teleports to Rose, and appears by her side.
