He handed over the necklace to Rose, "Since she used it, it will only activate to her. If she ever needs to summon it, all she has to do to is grip on to the pendant. Go ahead and give it to her."

After placing the cold pack in the freezer, Eddie laid down on one of the beds and closed his eyes.

I force my gaze up from the floor to look Four in the eyes. "No. That isn't what I want...call me old fashioned or selfish, but what I want is for you and I to be together...and that's it. No one else. Just you and me, like a proper couple, you know? I can't have casual sex with you and Mia, or any one in this group. It goes against my principles, and I hope you can respect that...You won't break my heart if you say you want to stay with Mia, I wouldn't want her to get hurt...but I'll say it right now. I love you too. So, are willing to be mine and mine alone?" I ask, already expecting the answer.

EMily's head tilted downward.
"Gwen and I were probably the ones who had the most frequent quarrels. As soon as she realized that electromagnetism had allowed me to do so much more than she could at the age of ten, she started to get really impatient and angry."

<color=brown>"After that, James said he would have enough of it. It was only until Gwen was 18 years old was she mature enough to understand the mechanics of gravity and control its many uses. As well as the futility of her impatience. I couldn't stand it. She was a piece of work in herself, ripping apart stones with her gravity. I don't remember how many times I've told her to stay calm."

<color=darkgreen>"When we were young, we liked to play different forms of existing games. EMily would practice dodgeball with small plasma balls and magnetic fields. But the one style of game we all liked to play were word games and strategy games."

"Okay! I'll make sure she gets it!" Rose said, giving Kenneth a big smile and pocketing the pendant.

"I...I can't do that Tanner. I love Mia, and she's the...well, other parent of my children, I can't just leave her. I respect your principles, but I'm still sorry that you don't feel we can make this work." Four said gloomily.

Kenneth smiled in return. "Perhaps you might get one as well..." he turns to Angel, who nods.

Angel projects a holographic keyboard, tapping away at lightning speeds.

"Oh, I'm sorry, EMily. I didn't mean to bring up unpleasant memories. That wasn't my intent at all. I do apologize." Jin gave a small bow to her, and as he brought his head back up shot a smile at her.

Turning back to Sara and Winona, "Thank you, though. It was most enlightening. I do appreciate the openness with which you have shared this with me." There was almost a sadness to Jin's eyes, though he was smiling.

<color=darkgreen>"There were a lot of times when I questioned my role in my own powers. I cried a lot because I didn't know what I could do when two of my other sisters had clearly defined powers. But EMily was always there, and treated me as if she was a big sister. Even though we were the same age. Sara was there for me too, but EMily was always there to cheer me up. She always knew what I liked."

"Really? Pardon me if I'm out of line, but it seems to me like you're giving these things out like party favors." Rose said with a small chuckle to Kenneth.

Angel sighed, hitting the enter key. "Alright, it is done. Most technology that anybody has shouldn't turn to dust now..."

Kenneth nods. "It could have been worse off." He turns back to Rose.

"Since they are Real-Types, they are mass produced... There is already a large flux of them floating around... So why not just hand them out? However, we just got to make sure that people are ready."

I nod slowly. I had been half expecting this, but it still felt like a punch to the gut. I try to give a brave smile. "[sub]I admire your loyalty. She...Mia's a sweet girl...she really does deserve to be with someone as wonderful as you.[/sub]" I say quietly. "...Feel free to keep staying in the armory...I'll find somewhere else to sleep." I add as I stay seated and stare at the floor.

"Sounds like you two are close, Winona. I'm glad you have such a good 'big' sister."

OoC: @Slenn because gravity is a force that we don't fully understand. How it really works is more theory than anything. While we see it and know largely what it does, we haven't much of an idea how it works. And that is largely how the girls powers operate. Knowledge=power. How'd I do?

"It's okay Jin. Our fights ended very abruptly once she and I became of age. After that, she has been more silent as she tries to concentrate on herself and finding her place in the cosmos. I'm glad she's made that step. She's a smart girl, I knew she was."

Angel and Kenneth deploy only a part of the Moonlight Butterfly as it starts surrounding the group.

"If you people are ready..." says Kenneth.

 

[Saltyk]

"Well, that's good. Are you two closer, now, EMily?" Jin asks her before turning back to Sara. "Very much. I appreciate it. It means a lot to me."

 

[Slenn]

OOC: @Rosh. Damn straight it's a f**king oatmeal raisin cookie.

"Yes... yes we are. It still is very difficult to see what she wants to do from her often bouts of silence and solitude. But at the same time, we've learned to approach each other when we feel something is wrong. Gwen didn't want to start another fight with me again, and so that's how she approaches things."

Four didn't know what to say. She heard a song playing outside the ship and got an idea in her head. She gave Tanner a kiss before leaving the ship. She hovered in the doorway for a second and said to Tanner, "Take care of yourself." She left the ship, quietly crying.
