Regulus activated the device by pulling several levers on the left side of the device.
It made a deep humming noise as the black rings surrounding the Soul Gem began rotating, all in difrent dircetions.
[sub]So far, so good.[/sub] Regulus walked over to the other side of the device and pulled more levers. The rotating rings changed direction and began spinning more quickly. Regulus then walked infront of the machine and pressed three buttons.
The Soul Gem began glowing and spilling Warp energy.
"Excellent. It is as good as new.
Now to test it..."

Indeed I was thet one doing that, and now I will do it again.
Let us see what the Warp will show thee...
More and more Warp energy spilled forth from the device before shooting up and dispersing.
Shortly after, Lambda felt the same disturbing sense of displacement. It was dizzying.
Her eyesight got poorer, but when she checked her systems, all seemed normal. Her eyes suffered no physical dammage.

OOC: Oddly enough the Blood Ravens are the best Chapter for interaction in my opinion. The Chapter motto is "Knowledge is power, hide it well." and dedicate themselves to the aquisition and protection of knowledge as well as service to the emperor.

OOC: @Gear Thanks. There's no pointers really. Its just a case of paying attention to the details ofthe scene that you're imagining. A lot of it comes from the type of books I read. Clive Cussler, Conn Iggulden, Chris Ryan, etc. You pick up the writing style when you read enough of it.

@Trilby Don't forget, she was basically invisible until she left the alley. This new character couldn't have tracked her from the apartment unless he was specifically looking for her, and very observant.

@Gear again, I'd call that a scissor-kick to the chest, splitting immediately on impact for a pair of swift blows to the jaw and groin before pushing off from her opponent with a graceful backflip to land in a balanced position.

AEanna smiled in surprise at Tarkus's acknowledgement and continued on to Tanner's ship. AS she went, she saw golden sand between two of the buildings that she passed. Backtracking, she got a better view of the beach which had been obscured by the terraces.
How did I not notice that before? She wondered, and went to have a look.

OOC: Unfortunately I'll need to head on to get the bus before long.

OOC: @Gear Attention to detail, my friend. That's basically all it is. I focus on what I want to get across, and leave the unimportant bits in the background. If I were writing a novel for example, I'd do a lot more to describe Ambrosia itself, but thats not really viable in the format of the RP.

The Marines reassembled their weapons lightening fast when they felt the taint of Chaos. Unlike Physkers, Grey Knights or Eldar they couldn't pin-point anything but they felt its dark presance. "Feel that Brothers" Lysandros said. "Pattern Vigil, spread out and find the source Blood Ravens. The Marines held their Bolters ready as they slowly made their way towards the ship, in combat spread and speed. Ever alert on their autosenses they trudged on.

OOC: I started writing the Space Marines in an incredibly mediocre manner, been trying to work out how to write it well because its been ages since I read the Horus Heresy books. I can't reflect the individual emotions of each marine in a timely manner so its either quality or quantitiy and I'm juggling alternating levels of each trying to find the zenith of it.

@Ven: I don't know anmything about the 40K universe, so I'm not most qualified to judge, but you've been doing a good job so far if ya ask me.
