AEanna stepped out onto the fine white-gold grains of the beach, and listened to the crunch of shells beneath her boots, and the roar and whisper of the tidal swash and backwash. It would have been a pleasant scene, but here the sun blazed down on her with an intensity that made her feel like a flame was being held to close to her skin, while the white hot rays lanced into her eyes and gave her an immediate headache. She grimaced and turned away, raising the deerskin so that it covered her head. With her t-shirt soaking and clinging to her skin the sun quickly began to feel uncomfortable on her back as well, and she strode back from the beach.
OOC: @Ven You've done a good enough job to make me swallow my prejudices and borrow Space Marine from a friend. That takes some good work, but you've maintained a very high standard across all your characters, I'd say.
