OOC: Every being that has a soul has a Warp presance which is basically every though and memory they've ever had, the potention to have more represented as an sub-concious manifestation in the war that Chaos, Eldar and the Imperium name the soul. OoC: @Ven Well then Tophat would not be very affected by it, seeing as its soul is in its body, and it can in practice shut itself down. Tophat is basically a soul bound to a tophat, and anything done to the tophat will affect Tophat.
