AEanna tensed and raised her hands when she saw the bolter, but relaxed a little as it was lowered.
"A heretic? Do you mean one of Regulus's minions or allies?"
"Depending on what you were doing at the time, any number of reasons. From your choice of words, I find myself assuming that it was you who started the conflict." AEanna said, standing with her arms folded and craning her neck to keep eye contact with Lysandros.
Caim's autosenses track Tophat. He arrives by the door. "One last chance." He says into the door.
Tarkus addressed AEanna now. "One of your party showed signs of demonic possession, we moved to put her down but he stood against us. We were incapacitated and he stole our holy armaments."
AEanna tensed up again.
"You attacked one of our companions? Then whoever is in there is one of ours as well! He had every right to stand up for his friend! Leave him alone!" She shouted, and began to move towards the door. As she went she heard Charlotte call out.
"No, you are just in time! They have someone trapped in here and intend to slay him for some percieved heresy!"
Lysandros stood before AEanna. "We cannot allow that. He offended both the Emperor and our Chapter when he stole our weapons. Tarkus looked at Lysandros. "Stand aside Brother Lysandros, this one is owed much by the chapter." Lysandros was shocked beneath the helmet but bowed his head and stood aside.
AEanna began to raise her hands with a spell of paralysis prepared, but on hearing Tarkus call Lysandros off, she hesitated, confused, and then slowly lowered them. Turning her gaze on Tarkus she began to say something, but then changed her mind and bolted inside the ship to catch up with Caim and assist whoever he had trapped.
"Ok... What exactly happened though? Whoever it is, he probably said it out of ignorance.... Which most of us wouldn't know anything about a God-Emperor to be honest."
OOC: Huh. Kind of a strange time to leave, when his character is essentially in a Mexican Standoff with a Space Marine.
AEanna sprinted through the halls, stopping momentarily to listen for the voices of Caim and whoever he was pursuing. She hoped that she wasn't too late.
Moving from one corridor to another as quickly as she was able, AEanna soon caught sight of the hulking red armour that she was looking for and rushed in. She saw that he was watching a door that was still intact and firmly sealed and guessed that for whatever reason, he had not yet attacked. She sighed with relief and called out.
"Space Marine! Stand down! Our companion was right not to let you harm the other, whatever his methods may have been!"
