As the others didn't seem to have anything better to throw at Regulus, AEanna cast the Paralysis spell. She was not especially skilled in Alteration magic compared to Destruction and Restoration and had no doubt that it would not work properly on him, but since Regulus had not seen it before she hoped that the less offensive nature of the magicwould take him by surprise and loosen his grip on Winona.
