OOC: @Saltyk Exactly. While the events of the last thread were significantly more epic (to my mind at least, since the whole thing was better structured) the characters are what gave this one its charm. And yeah, Jin and Jio were good, you captured the attitude of both characters well (or at least created a good character for each, I don't know what they're like in their original series) but I don't think I ever really interacted with them enough to become as attached to them as for some of the others. Shame really.

Oh, I forgot to add an actual attack to my last post. Its there now.

The Bloodthirster momentarely lost its balance when Tanner hacked away at its leg. It slamed the axe into the ground and leaned on it, then the beam from Laguna hit, topling the giant.
The unearthly warrior sliced at the deamon's armour, slightly damaging it.
After a short while, the Bloodthirster recovered from the onslought and got up. It underestimated these mortals, a mistake it would not make again.
With its wings ruined, flying was not an option, it instead lept up and slammed its axe into the ground with all the force it could, causing a massive earthquake.
A vast sandstorm flared up, obsuring the demon.

Group 2, go.

OoC @Gear: I still think it's a pity that the Nu arc got aborted.

Four instinctively raised a hand to cover her face after the demon created a dust-cloud. This allowed her to easily re-position her arm to block the Bloodthirster's axe swipe. She managed to avoid being slashed, however the demon's immense strength sent her flying off into the air as she blocked. She came back down a minute later, boosting down at the demon with her leg extended to deliver a flying kick to the demon's noggin as she descended into the sandstorm.

"Ready to provide medical support as necessary." Rose said in monotone to Sniper as she approached and addressed her. She brought out her bass guitar and started checking it to ensure it would operate at optimal capacity.

OoC: @Nailik Ah well. In terms of what will happen to Lambda, I'll just have her warp back home. Then Kokonoe will just whip up a new body, and I can link it to the cannon of the game by having Lambda's next mission be a fight against Hazama... who promptly mindrapes her so bad she needs a memory wipe, undoing all her development and setting the stage for her story in Continuum Shift. Plus that way, if we bring her back in the next thread, we can unlock her persona and memories from this one!

Seeing the sandstorm Jio's Spirit channeled into Zero Type R. "Oh, no you don't!" Maximum Spirit! Initiate effect. Jio brought his hand down and unleashed a massive whirlwind. "Mars Stinger!"

Jin was just behind Jio, but decided that since he couldn't see the beast he would hold his ground. He already had experience that told him it was unwise to attack when you couldn't see your opponent. He had used it to his advantage before.

OoC: Mars Stinger is an AOE knock-back. He's trying to clear up the dust storm.
@Random I'm probably a little off in some ways on Jio. Jin is a little difficult as he didn't have as big a role in the series. So, a large chunk of his personality I'm basing off what we do see of him. For example, he was able to figure out a math puzzle in seconds, so he plays Sudoku and is generally pretty smart in my portrayal.

Seeing the large sandstorm reminded Joe of the one game he had played on Preginald (A talking DS) back in his last adventure. It was called Pokemon. And there was a really cool pokemon named Tyranitar that could make sandstorms. But there was one pokemon that Joe used called a psyduck. It was a very stupid pokemon, but it could know surf which was handy. Joe then realized he was going off on a very long tangent and that his story should probably rap up before the monster attacked him again.

Joe remembering the stupid Psyduck draw a small cloud with a nine on it. As he peeled the drawing from the ground the sandstorm subsided.

OoC: If this is too much fine but I think it's slightly funny/absurd. Joe's using Psyduck's ability 'Cloud Nine' which stops weather, like sandstorm.

OOC: Yeah, he always seemed to come across as an intelligent, but reserved type. Jin that is. Jio... I don't know, really. I can't really call anything to memory about him in terms of character. I'm pretty tired at the moment though.

OoC: Unless people object, I plan to bring Jio, Jin, and my villains over as is. I could finish this story, but it would be really rushed. We'd have to kill 4 Recipes (at least) in a few days and then have my resolution to it all. Plus, I really wanna explore Jio with full access to his powers. Will he become cocky and arrogant? Will he be corrupted by nigh unlimited power? What will happen?

OoC: @Saltyk So long as there's a good explenation for him coming across and we have a bit of free time to set up the new characters and arcs, I'm game.

Also, I've decided that I'm gonna be a villan in the next thread, unless anyone wants me to stay a good guy.

Due to the lack is vision, Four had missed the Bloodthirster completely and came out the other and of the sandstorm.
The combined moves of Jio and Joe blew the sandtorm away, revealing the deamon was spinning the whip around in the air. As the whip spun, it created a ring of fire.
The Bloodthirster slammed the whip into the ground, sending waves upon waves of fire flying in all directions.

Group 1, go.

OoC @Salty: I won't object to that.
I also will be playing a villain in the next thread. 'Cause frankly, I'm no good at doing anything else.

Laguna dropped the Ragnarok and dodged the waves of fire, just parely. Once the flames had subsided, he drew the Ragnarok once more, and performed another energy blade swipe.


OoC: @Nailik I though Erica and Eddie were pretty good.

OoC: @Gear Well, @Nail was making me pics of the 3 main villains, Bellerophon, Medea, and Athena (The Master is established in the manga), so I had planned to slow their demises anyway. And let them act more as extra villains to the group, trolling and causing problems. So, I have no problem putting them on the back burner for a while. Kinda curious what Silver will do with Lilah since she has a Demon Core in her.
@Nail Really? That's a shame. I actually like Eddie. Also, Erica and Michael. Michael had a great dynamic going with Jio for a while, too.

The warrior bathed in light chuckled at the flaming whip and slammed the rim of his shield down into the desert sand. The flames struck it and were almost immediately extinguished. Straighetning up, the warrior glared up at the bloodthirster.
"KRII LUN AUS!!! he shouted, his voice unnaturally loud and with an echo that should not have been possible in the flat basin topography of the Nevada desert.

OOC: @Nailik Once again, Eddie and Erica were both very likeable. Perhaps Eddie is better written, while Erica was simply going to be a likeable character anyway. I don't think so though. You still have to be good to make the character likeable.

OoC: Well, I got a specific villan in mind, and he's more of the detached, affable, not in it for the evil kinda bad guy. Nope, he's being evil in the name of SCIENCE! Heck, I could whip up a quick taster of him right now if anyone wants to see.
@Random Ok I knew that was coming, but still, it's awesome to see him again.

OOC: @Nailik Drains the health and stamina of the target. Now that he's a hero of Sovngarde, I would imagine that the shout is amplified by his ascension.
