OOC: @Gear Thats what you call it, is it? Whining? I prefer to call it concern. Looking out forsomeone that I've actually come to like. Giving a shit. You know, that kind of idea. I wouldn't do that for someone who was truly worthless and if you think that I'm the sort of bleeding heart who thinks every human life has worth, I can tell you that I've met some people that I wouldn't bother to scrape off of my shoe if I stepped on them in the street in the last month alone.

Oh, and if you can't think of something good in the last week, stretch it to a month. Or more. From November to about the middle of April this year I felt almost exactly as you do now, maybe not to the same extreme degree, and nothing could snap me out of it, not even my dearest friends. In time, it just passed. These things happen, but at the same time, you need to take the attitude that you want it to pass.

@Slenn Well, it was part of my point. That people have been making these predictions since before I was born and they are always wrong. Hell, Nostradamus, who people think was so accurate wasn't half as accurate as people claim. Even the ones he got "right" would only be right if you take extreme liberties, and try to make them "right".
