"I'd have said it was unnecessary to leave a wound untreated when it can be easily dealt with. I also know that leaving a wound untreated and not letting anyone look at it can end very, VERY badly. Is it really worth leaving it untouched for the sake of... what, exactly? Pride? Refusing medical care isn't something to be proud of."

James frowned for a moment, then shook his head and shrugged.
"If you say so." he muttered resignedly, then looked sternly at Grace.
"She's said her piece, you can't force her to accept treatment. Now get off of her please."

Grace growled as she resisted the urge to retaliate against Charlie. Instead she simply stood and picked her staff up.

And for the record, the mass relays aren't destroyed, just damaged.
Shepard becomes the center of a reaper hive mind and turns them into good guys. The galxy is being rebuilt, and if any danger does arise Shepard can use the Reapers to sort it out right away.
The Reapers are destroyed, but at the cost of the Geth, EDI, advanced VI's and any organics with a large amount of tech implants. Shepard survives and reunites with his/her crew.
Shepard sacrifces him/herself. All organics become partly synthetic and vice-versa. The Reapers willingy stop their attack and unite with the other races, telling them everything they learned from the many races they've assimilated before.
You can argue with the Catalyst or even shoot him and not use the Crucible, fighting without it. The Reapers win, but due to instructions left behind by Liara and several others, come the next cycle they are curbstomped and defeated for good.
