"First allow me to heal you." Riou raises his hand and a shield symbol appears over his hand. "Great Blessing!" A green light fills the area and Raiden's wounds heal, though not completely, he will certainly survive. "That should be better."
He looks to Gwen and her sisters. "Hello, we were just talking."

OoC: @Zeph Not quite at death's door, but he is slowly dieing. It's because he is resisting his True Rune. It has a purpose and he has been ignoring it for a good 100 years. Even in the game, he was shown to constantly faint from this. Logical extension.
