Deliverance rolled away from Sephiroth and the blade opened up to reveal three forming something like a throwing star. "Life is pointless. That is the meaning of my name. I will deliver everything from the pointlessness that is life!" A white mist seemed to channel into the weapon, and he threw it at Sephiroth.

Sephiroth's eyes widened. 'What is that?' he hissed, swapping Masamune into his dominant left hand; he raised the sword so that the point faced downwards, the blade diagonally covering his entire body.

Varger kept walking towards Jio, waiting for his answer. He glanced again at Tanner. "Says the trooper who I know nothing about. I'll bleed you good when the time comes." Then at Lambda. "I am insturcted to do nothing, I killed my instructer." Fenris stops before Jio. His huge head looms towards him. "Educate me then, either way you'll bleed in the end. To see one of such a young age instill fear in one so old would be quite the sight." He slowly opens his mouth and rolls his tongue over his layers of teeth and exhaling. It is a horrible smell. "Nothing so honourable though, all who stand beside Greg must bleed, then he must die on the third. A one on one is not my style, I prefer the odds against me."
Sable's crossbow bolts didn't pack enough punch and bounced off the Genji armour.

To recover, he jammed the blade of the naginata into a wall of the ice castle to slow his decend.
Once he reached the ground, Gilgamesh pulled the naginata out of the wall and made a low sweep at Athena's legs followed up by a vertical slash with the Flametongue.

Sable is now above Gilgamesh and disables the gyrocopter while simultaneously throwing a corrosive potion and pulling a glaive out of a barony portal
