"Alright. I can do that." Four affirmed as she landed a few blocks from the building where the fireballs were being launched from, behind a building to try and get some kind of cover.
The third fireball slammed into the clearing, though the group was long gone, so all it did was burn whatever few trees were left near it.
Maka would sense thousands of souls from the ghosts above her, but nothing from the building aside from Jack, Darwin, James, and the Mason sisters.

James hurriedly climbed flights of stairs and sprinted down hallways, trying to find a path to the top of the building as fast as possible. Every now and then he would shout so that the Mason sisters could follow him even when he was out of sight.
"...Could you get me to the top of that building?" Grace asked Four, indicating the one that was producing the fire balls.

I don't that would work.....even with Soul protect on......the barrier would be toast....followed by us...

James kept going until the signs over the elevators told him that he was on the top floor. Seeking out an emergency exit, he kicked the door open and burst through with his P90 in his left hand and his undertaker in the right. Seeing Chanda doused in the surf released by Xu and Ludicolo, he levelled his gun at her one-handed.
"Time to dish out some pain of our own!" He shouted.

Chanda holds out her hand and the puff of flames expands into a blast of fire that evaporates the wave before it could touch her. "Yes, me. Expecting someone else?" She said to Xu as she launched a cone of flames from her hands at him. "Oh, how'd you get burned? I don't think I did that." She said to James as she turned to look at him.
"Whatever. I'm staying here with the ship...I don't think I'll be much help in a fight just yet." Four said to Grace.
