"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL?" Thar yelled, the sound muffled, crawling through the innards of the ship as he saw the large dent in the passage/wall in front of him.

"That almost gave me a heart attack"

 

[Outisakanobody]

Grace wandered around until she found Four in the kitchen. She waited to speak with her, rubbing her, now healed, hand.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Hmm? Oh, that. Well, you don't remember what all happened when you were in my head, but I guess I should tell you." Four said. She took a deep breath before continuing. "You're pretty much the only reason I'm still alive right now." She admitted to Erica. She didn't notice Grace come in, as she was now looking down at the table.

Grace cleared her throat slightly, then said, "I am sorry, Four, but I have damaged your ship." she then told her where the dent was and prepared to leave the kitchen.

 

[Chungus]

"Say what?" Erica said to Four, utterly dumbstruck and nearly dropping her glass.
She placed the glass on the table and turned sideways to look at Four. Erica saw Grace enter the kitchen but didn't bother to ask for a moment as Grace was already about to leave.

Thar took a hammer off of his tool belt and started hammering the dent back into place, the sound resonating through the wall

"If i was several seconds faster then that would have been rather bad"

 

[Drakmorg]

"Whatever, I'll take care of that later. Just be more careful from now on, this is where I live." Four said to Grace. She took another deep breath and said to Erica, "Yeah...if it weren't for you I'd have probably killed myself a long time ago."

 

[Outisakanobody]

Grace wanted to stay after hearing what Four said, but quietly excused herself none the less. She went to her room and fell asleep.

Gerry fell asleep next to Asha.

[Chungus]

"What? Why...?" Erica asked Four with a concerned voice. "And what did I do to make you change your mind?"
God, I hate Relius... Just how much of my life has been stolen?

Thar hammered the dent roughly back into place

"Its good enough for now"

He continued climbing through the ship, looking for somewhere to sleep

"I should explain. It was back when I...when we first came to this universe. You were living in my head, and you were really all I had left, I thought. After a while it started to look like I was all alone in this universe, except for you. I didn't think I had wound up in the same place as everyone else after having to flee from the Virus Bomb. I got depressed to the point where I was just thinking about ending it all. But, you were there, in my head. If I had killed myself, I'd be killing you, and I just couldn't bring myself to do that." Four explained to Erica.

 

[Chungus]

Erica was silent for a while, letting the information sink in. Eventually, she placed her hand on Four's shoulder and said, "If that's the case... you shouldn't thank me for it. It was your own strength that kept you alive.
A weaker person might've gone through with it, no matter if I was there, but you kept going despite the hard times. Wherther it was because some sense of morality or not, you didn't buckle under the sadness.
I did nothing."

 

[Drakmorg]

Four eventually looked up at Erica and smiled. "Thanks. But you really shouldn't sell yourself short. You did do a lot to keep my spirits up. Even if I might not have killed myself, I would have felt much, much worse about everything if you weren't there with me."
A thought popped into her head, and she decided to mention it to Erica, "I don't why I didn't think of this earlier, I guess maybe because I didn't know, but do you think Tophat could restore your memory about those times if he poked around inside my head for a bit?"

 

[Chungus]

"I shouldn't sell myself short?" Erica chuckled. "Looks who's talking!
Like I said earlier, if you hadn't take the time to comfort me when I was dying, I might well have sank further into my depression.
Who knows, I might even have become suicidal myself.
As for your question... I think he might! Great idea!"

 

[Drakmorg]

"Well at least there's one thig we're both good at, keeping each other from being suicidal-levels of depression." Four jokingly remarked. "Yeah, the idea's worth a shot, right? I mean it's an entire month of your life...or existence or whatever we're talking about, it'd be a shame to lose it forever. Let's make a note to ask Tophat about it as soon as possible."

 

[Chungus]

"Amen to that." Erica said as she hugged Four. "And yeah, losing massive portions of your life, it's not pleasant. That I guarantee!
It's rather embarissing too. Saying 'oh I'm sorry, I don't remember that' all the time.
Feels really empty... Spending time with the rest... it's all I have, having lost so much really breaks my heart."

 

[Drakmorg]

Four hugged Erica back tightly and started to tear up. "I'm sorry you had to go through that. Especially since it's kind of my fault. I had a chance to stop it from happening...but I hesitated. I'm sorry..." She said before breaking down and starting to cry.

 

[Chungus]

Erica closed her eyes and started stroking Four's head and lower back.
"Shhh. You're not to blame for this." She said with a soft voice.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Still...I'm sorry it happened." Four said as she continued crying on Erica's shoulder. She eventually managed to regain her composure, taking a hand off Erica's back to wipe her eyes.

 

[Chungus]

"Hey, what's done is done. Maybe things might've gone diferently hadn't you hesitated, maybe not.
We'll never know, so there's no reason to beat yourself up over it." Erica said as she slightly pulled away from Four, smiling at her. She gently wiped the tears from Four's cheecks, then hugged her again.
"You do this far too often, you know? Beating yourself up, that is.
Everybody makes mistakes. Don't let them haunt you, rather learn from them and move on."
