He raised the point of Masamune, extending his arm towards his opponent's chest so that Cao Cao was kept away from him. Being over seven feet in length, the use of Masamune was enough to keep him out of the reach of any opponent.
'A further test, then,' he decided aloud, stepping around with his left foot and spinning in a tight circle, Masamune's blade whirring close to his body to slash towards Cao Cao. As the sword came around, he took a step closer; when Cao Cao tried to dodge or block, he would stretch out his arms and catch him with Masamune's edge. Now that would test his opponent's agility.

Once he regained his balance, he held the bladed end of the naginata against the ground and looked at Lu Bu form a courching position.
He then chared at the, making an fiegn upwards diagonal strike at Lu Bu that stopped inches away from his chest, he then used the end of the weapon to sweep at Lu Bu's feet.

It is complicated, Nu.
But rest asured, you will be free. I garantee it!
