Joe ate another piece as he handed Gwen and Gordon a piece of the smoked salmon. "Gregarie caught the fish and I helped him smoke them, he's a really nice guy! He wanted me to share it around and see what other people thought." Joe said happily.

Lambda turned to Jio. "It seems she is a voice in my mind left behind by a being called Regulus. She says she can keep Nu under control, and that it's not right to keep her trapped."

Jio looked alarmed. "Did you say Regulus? Lambda, whatever you do, do NOT listen to that voice. Ever. It is evil. Do you understand me?" He looks at Sable. "Stop, do NOT work with this spirit. It is certainly evil."

'We are using the animal, then..?'
Sephiroth searched his memory. How did this work? He could summon... demons. That would not do.
Ifrit? No good, fire demon.
Bahamut? Asking for trouble.
Chocobo? Nu wouldn't like that.
But perhaps... Yes, this world had changed not just him but his materia. The summons brought forth animals not from his world but those that he assumed must be from this one.
'Would Nu prefer a dog, or a cat? Or perhaps a bird..?' he wondered aloud, unsure how he knew the names of the creatures.

Why does everyone keep distrusting me? I have been nothing but kind to you.

"But I have talked with it a fair bit. It seems friendly." Lambda turned to Sephiroth. "It does not really matter."

"I'll have to tell him the next time I see him." Joe exclaimed. "Gregarie's going to he so happy when he hears how much you enjoyed it!"

Jio shakes his head. "But she has no power. She is trapped inside your head. She is a Dark Soul. I once had one trapped in my mind. All it wanted was destruction. Do not listen to this creature. It only seeks to use you for it's own gains."

Lambda looked at Jio. "Alicia has given me no reason to distrust her." She hesitated for a moment, then grabbed Sable's hand. "Ready."
