ooc: Btw, a gyrocopter knight is a knight in light armor with a large backpack with a propeller that allows in to fly. @Saltyk But what did it do?!

The guard towers open fire on the ship.
The Mason sisters take out many of the gyrocopterists near the ship
Jowy's ghost ship bombards the castle and destroys some of the guards, but the wall defenses retaliate and fire back at the ghost ship

ooc: I hope I got everything.
We need a group order, so
Drop team: Anyone who did the hot drop into the castle
Aerial team: Anyone flying around outside
and Infiltration team: Anyone with Sable

Drop team is first

Rose started firing explosive blasts of energy at whichever guard tower was closest to Four's ship.

"...It wasn't. Just trust me on that. Now hold on." Four said to Erica as she had to take evasive maneuvers to avoid the fire directed at the ship. "Did...Did it just get windy in here?" She asked, noticing that a breeze was blowing.

OOC: I'll move this if I have to.

Uh oh. Erica! Your rune is acting up!

Dio tried to get the attention of as many knights as he could, roaring insults and taunts while firing his spinfusor at those he could see.

"Okay then. I'll take your word for it." Erica said with a slight chuckle.
Upon hearing Four's second comment, Erica looked at her hand. "Aww... damn.
This probally isn't good... Jowy said Runes don't appreciate it when their bearers sit on the sidelines.
I think I pissed it off by doing just that."

I just noticed.

Jowy raises his right hand. "Twinkling Blade!" A sword symbol appears over his hand and a sphere of black energy appears over his head and then begins expending some of that energy into the gyrocopters. Some disappear outright and others simply take damage.

OoC: Twinkling Blade has a small (30%) chance of instant death and deals damage normally otherwise. It's the level 2 spell of the Black Sword Rune.
@Sable Yeah, there is no ship for them to shoot at. It disappeared when it dropped him off.

ooc: @Saltyk I thought you were going to stay on it and bombard the castle. I didn't know it disappeared.
So, Saltyk and Kirke are on the drop team, but who else was?

Well..." Erica said as she held her left hand up, showing the glowing Rune. "This is a Rune.
The little bugger decided it would be cool to latch on to me a few days ago.
Runes are symbol thingies that grant the bearer power and make them semi-immortal.
The catch? They're also sentient was don't exactly have their bearer's best interest at heart.
So, yeah." She explained, then lowered her hand again, nervously rubbing it.
