"...I don't know what to say..." I reply, even though she hit the nail on the head...in some regards.

Four crossed an arm over her stomach so she could rest the elbow of her other arm on it while she rubbed the bridge of her nose and groaned. "You can be really difficult sometimes, you know that?"

Toph was started to get annoyed at Doctor's apparent insistence at calling her 'Miss'. "Seriously, it's just 'Toph'." She said, her irritation showing through in her tone. "But no, I don't really know where to find a bed." She answered.

"I'm sorry." I say.

 

[Demonjazz]

"Oh no beds. Well that's fine just Toph. I will just need to soften the earth with my sonic screwdriver. I have a feeling this will be the start of a great friendship" The Doctor softed the earth and slept there

 

[Drakmorg]

"You aren't really, are you? Why can't you just tell me what's wrong? Is it something I did? If so, just tell me and I'll apologize." Four said to Tanner.

Toph shrugged at being called 'just Toph'. It wasn't ideal, but it bugged her quite a bit less than being called 'Miss'. Just imagining what the word 'Miss' implied was enough to make her shudder. "Yeah, maybe." She said to The Doctor as she fell asleep. She leaned back in her chair, bending the earth to make the back go back to allow her to and make a foot-rest as well. She sat there and finished the fish the Gregarie had given her and sighed.

"...It's not really like that, no. And I am sorry." I say.

 

[Drakmorg]

Four groaned and threw her hand up in the air. "Man, you've got a real talent there. Even when you're apologizing, you're still being frustrating!" She turned to face away from him. She was thinking about storming off, but in this particular context most of the dramatic weight would be lost since they were in a memory and she could probably only go so far.

"...You really don't want to hear what I'm thinking." I blurt out.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Yeah, sure. Just keep burying it. If you're worried about making me feel bad, don't. I'm gonna be feeling bad about this either way." Four said, still facing away from Tanner. After a pause she added, "...Maybe I should just go."

"...Oh alright...I'm not happy. I'm not happy seeing you with Winter, or with Gwen, or with Grace or anyone. It's...it's nothing you're doing wrong...you're just living you life and trying to enjoy it...I'm happy that your trying, I really am...but..." I say, starting to shake and choke up again.

 

[Drakmorg]

"...Oh, I see now. I'm so sorry. All this time I've just been taking you for granted, really. I haven't been thinking about how I affect you in here. I'm the one that should be apologizing here. I don't tend to think about how my...promiscuity affects those around me." Four said, her ears pressed flat against her head.

"...Yeah...But listen..." I say as I get closer to Four and hug her. "It's...I don't hate you or resent you, because I know this is just the way you are...It's not a part I love about you, but I'm not trying to judge you about it." I say, trying to make her feel better.

 

[Drakmorg]

"You don't hate me...but you do hate that I'm doing it. You just hate that I'm with anyone other than you. It just tears you up inside, doesn't it?...I wish things could be different. But you aren't here, not like they are." Four said to Tanner, resting her hands on Tanner's. After a pause she said, "Maybe it would be better..." trailing off before she finished what she was saying.

"Hmm?" I ask.

 

[Drakmorg]

"...For you...maybe it would be better for you, if you...if you weren't around anymore. You know...like you suggested." Four managed to choke out, clearly sounding upset at the prospect.

"Hey, hey, Four...If you want me to stay around I will. Christ...the only reason any of this is a problem is because I love you so damn much...you know?" I say gently as I hug Four closer to me and kiss the top of her head.

 

[Drakmorg]

"But it's not just about me! If you're miserable...I want to try and fix that. It'd just be selfish for me to want to keep you around if you hate it so much. This isn't about me right now, this is about you. So what do you want?" Four said, trying to keep her emotions in check.

I take a deep breath and take in Four's scent. It gets me every time. I can't even describe it. I smell this and hope wells up in me. "...I need to think about this more...and I think you've been in here for long enough." I say, almost sadly. I pull Four into a passionate kiss before I let her fade away.

After a lot of consideration, Grace got into bed with Makoto, wearing a little clothing as she could while still covering her private areas.
