Kharag grunted in annoyance at the strange human and dismissed his ramblings.

James remembered Erica's affliction. It came back to him that he had expressed almost exactly the same concerns for her health back when their relationship had been more amicable, and a small smile brought some light to his drawn face.
"Yeah, I remember. That was pretty serious in the end, wasn't it? But its been years since I've even had a cold. Even if I caught something from that tentacle faced bastard in the forest, I should develop an immunity to it quickly."

Wulfgar gave a wan smile.
"And good to see you too. I am afraid that we cannot stay long however. We bring grim tidings from home."

Four got bored of just standing in the hall-way, trying to count how many laws of physics were being violated by having so many people crammed into such a tiny space as the ship's kitchen, and wandered outside. So many people we have to get around to fighting, it's actually hard to figure out what to do next...

Anyway, you shouldn't ignore this because you're more resistant to diseases then others. Who knows, thing thing might've infected you with something your body doesn't recognize at all.
Diferent worlds, diferent rules afterall. So yeah, don't ignore it and get help if it gets an worse."[/sub] Erica said to James, then turned back to Wulfgar again. [sub]"Oh? What is it?"[/sub] She asked, sounding quite concerned.
Her expression grew more morose still when she ard Tophat. Tophat? What is it?

Tophat didn't seem to hear Erica, and continues mumbling weakly about pain.

OOC: @Drak well as the good doctor would put it. You see they use some timey wimey technolgy and the bending of space to fit in the room

James pressed his palms against his eyes and sighed deeply.
"Yeah. Yeah, maybe you're right. I'll keep an eye on it." When he took his hands away from his eyes, his mutated vision had activated again, and his pupils were red. He slapped the side of his head angrily, blinking until the vision faded and his pupils returned to a dark blue.

"The vampires have been stepping up their raids of late." Wulfgar said ruefully. "They struck the city of Whiterun this week. The guards were unprepared for such an audacious attack, and many people were killed. Furthermore, we know that they are definitely planning something bigger. We do not know what, and the Dawnguard have not been particularly forthcoming with their intelligence, but we know that the nightwalkers seek a number of Elder Scrolls, and that cannot be anything good."

 

[Chungus]

Hearing Tophat, Erica shakily got to her feet, leaning on the table for support. What's wrong? Can you hear me? She asked, ignoring everyone else.

 

[Kirke]

Tophat kept mumbling to itself, saying something about "the bloody water" in between the ramblings.

Valentine looked at Erica as she stood up.
You ok there....Miss Erica?
She asks as she put her tea down.

James had been leaning against the counter with his arms crossed, but he pushed off frm it and unfolded them as Erica stood.
"Something wrong?"

Water? What do you mean? Where are you? Erica asked Tophat. She shook her head in responce to Valentine. "No... [sub]It's Tophat. He says he's in pain... And something about water...
Where is he?"[/sub] She asked, then looked at James. [sub]"Something's wrong with Tophat..."[/sub]

Valentine stood up.
pain and water?
She asks, then pauses for a moment.
Maybe its in a lake or river or sea?
She adds.

Kharag and Wulfgar exchanged another glance. The worst of their news -from the group's point of view- was yet to come, but it would have to wait.
"Tophat? The same one that we got back from the weakling and his Redguard servant? What's happened to him now?"

"Does he have any information on where he is? He hasn't sunk, has he?" James asked sharply.

[sub]"How can that be? I saved him, didn't I?!"[/sub] Erica asked Valentine, now sounding quite distressed. [sub]"I don't know!"[/sub] She said to Kharag as she shakily began moving out of the kitchen.
I don't know. He isn't making much sense..."[/sub] she said to James on her way out.

OoC @Outis: Erica learned that Tophat's missing. That's about it.

Tophat weakly moaned and cried softly, obviously in a great amount of pain.

She said calmy to Erica.

"Ah, hell." James went after Erica.
"Is he responding to you? Do what you can to get through to him. Get his attention. Scream at him if you have to. The main thing you need to do is keep an injured person responsive when you can't get to them. Stop them going into shock if nothing else."
