Valentine's fireball engulfed two of the raptors and burned them, causing them to shriek and howl as they died, the other raptors leaping away with surprising agility.
Maka cleaved the one she swung at in half, causing her to get showered in thick, black blood as the beast had leaped to meet her head on. She felt no soul leave the body as the creature died, or even one being present at all to begin with.
EMily shocked 3 raptors to death, stopping their hearts and causing them to fall over dead.
Gwen's bombs blew 4 more raptors to pieces.
Sniper's gunfire killed one of the raptor's surrounding him and winged a few others, slowing them down and injuring them. One of the raptors he missed entirely pounced on him and lashed at him with its claws.
The raptors surrounding the ship, seeing what had happened, leaped into action. Several leaped at their prey, threatening each member of the group in melee combat as they snapped at them with their jaws and slashed at them with their claws. The two attacking Grace and Gerry were stunned to find their teeth and claws stopping and hitting nothing instead of hitting flesh. They disengaged and went after other targets, one threatening to bite Erica in the shoulder from behind, and another leaping at EMily.
@Slenn: Remind me, what are Reimu's spirit cards supposed to do? Are they just projectiles, or do they have some other kind of effect?
Also, Group 2.

@Drak. They have some moderate damaging effect on normal humans, but they are far stronger against ghosts and impact like bullets to them. It's up to you if they are effective against dinosaurs. I apologize if I should have brought that earlier.
Scout was pretty badly hurt by the bite but was actually not impeded by it. He went and shot at the stupid raptors with his pistol. Luggage saw none of them where after the meat so he he spawned a pair of incredibly white teeth with a cartonishly red tongue and started trying to eat the raptors
Erica didn't notice the raptor sneaking up on her in time and recieved the crushing bite in the shoulder. Screaming pain, she pointed the P90 behind her, pressed it against the stomach of the attacking raptor and unleashed a burst of bullets at point-blank range.
Mercurean wing circled over the clearing where Four's ship was one more time, before turning to the North-East and flying off at a speed well beyond anything that modern Earth jets were capable of, climbing to an altitude to match it.

The raptor biting Erica had its stomach shredded to pieces by Erica's gunfire. It shrieked out in pain before flopping over and dying, letting go of Erica's shoulder in the process. The one in front of her stepped forward and slashed at her with its claws.
One of the raptors noticed the jet flying about above the clearing, but focused its attention back on its prey once it left.
Group 1!

Gerry tackled one of the monsters to the ground and started stabbing it in the neck with his knife. Grace also took out her knife and started slashing at the monsters.

Reimu flung forward and used her dimensional rift power to teleport a short distance and make a good swift kick at the jaw of the raptor she was shooting at. She flew backwards using spirit power to avoid getting hit.
EMily fired a single lightning bolt at the raptor that flung at her.
Sara shot out some pure lead bullets from her sword using nucleosythesis at various raptors.

The raptor fighting Maka was knocked back by her kick, then neatly decapitated by her follow-up slash.
Valentine managed to knock the raptor attacking Erica to the ground with her claw and stab into its side before it was able to hit her. It slowly stood back up, blood leaking from the wound on its side as it weakly howled at Valentine and snap at her with its mouth.
Gerry and Grace each managed to stab a raptor to death, but in doing so attracted the attention of other raptors as four more broke from the circle around the ship and attacked them, two of them going for each of them.

The raptor Reimu kicked was more angered at what she did then hurt, so it leaped after her with surprising speed and agility and tried to pin her down.

Erica yelped as the raptor infront of her was about to claw at her, but then noticed Valentine knocked it away. Taking this oppertunity, Erica fired a short burst at the raptor's head. "Yikes! Thanks for that!" She said to Valentine as she fired.
Over the Florida keys, Mercurean wing met up with Garrus's shuttle. The five Turian fighters broke formation as they passed the shuttle, then banked, came around, and linked up in front of it, with the shuttle behind the centre of a v formation. The shuttle pilot linked in as expertly as the fighter pilots around him.
"Alright Mercurean, lead us to this group in the jungle." Garrus said. "If there are any survivors they'll need urgent medical attention." The formation of aircraft angled back towards Brazil and accelerated again.
