Well she did have reservations about it, she told him at least twice that it probably would not work, if only because she and Gerry would have to leave and go through with the plan. I guess you could say she was secretly hoping Gerry would end it so it would not come to that, but I will not say that she wanted him to fail.

And even still, her actions might not make logical sense, but I don't see that as being a negative thing. Also, I don't see how Athena comes into this. Care to explain that?

"Well, there seems to be an airport in a town South West of here. It's about 25 miles from here, though. A vehicle of some sort would make it a trivial distance, though." Athena said to Toph

Garrus heard a transmission through his comms set, then turned to Saressa and Javik who had come over at the call to assemble.
"Crap, they're calling us back to the Vespasian. Said its urgent." Javik nodded, and Saressa laughed unexpectedly.
"Kragg is gonna freak when he hears that we're missing another battle!"
