"I'll put it like this: a Sworder begins training at age sixteen. We get sent to active deployment at age twenty. After thirty years of being the first over the top, so to speak, he has no one. Hell, I served with him for five years, and I hardly know the man!"

Sara shuffled the cards and passed them out to her other sisters.

EMily had a 3 of diamonds and a 2 of spades.
Winona had a 10 of diamonds and an 8 of hearts.
Gwen had a 3 of hearts and a 9 of clubs.

 

[Chungus]

Erica nodded, then clapped her hands together. "Right! Let's go inside." She cheerfully walked back inside the ship and headed towards her room. Once there, she stood by the door.

Valentine smiled and followed Erica back to her room.

Amy nodded slightly saddened. "Could... Could he just retire to an office job? Like troop management, debriefings and whatnot? Wherever you're from, soldiers need a person like him."

"Soo... Want to go join the Mason Sisters for some Blackjack?" he asked Noel.

Winter and Tabane were still in discussion to notice the Mason Sisters.

<color=blue>"Hit me." Sara passed a 6 of clubs to her.

<color=darkgreen>"Hit me." Winona said. <color=darkgreen>Please be a good one this time.
Sara passed a 9 of hearts.

<color=darkgreen>"Awwww.... darn. I busted."

OOC: And I'm back. Not really sure what I should do though. I just realized I need @Silver here before I can do anything with my plot, and he pretty much quit the thread, so I don't know what to do there....Eh, I'll think of something. Anyone want any of my characters?

Sara collected the cards and reshuffled them.

Erica saw that Rose was still sleeping in her bed and scratched her head. "Huh. I kinda forgot Rose was still sleeping here.
I guess we should go to the med bay then. Plenty of beds there." She said to Valentine.
