The trio entered the cave as well. Austin took out a touch and lit it.

"Much better." Then he saw EMily with her light palm and quickly extinguished the touch.

The twisting path of the caverns was a whole lot more wide then that of the mountain, though it was still one path.
Every now and again, the group came across another tunnel going down. Each of them where exactly the same size and shape, about the size of a mini van.

The group could hear a low rumbling noise. As the noise steadily got louder, another tremor shook the ground, but rather then deliver a single quake, then die down like it had before, this time it steadily inscreased in magnitude.

"Hey, at this point, I'd suspect anything." Makoto struggled to keep her footing as the ground shook. "Woah! I think whatever's digging, it's close by!"

The tremors got stronger and stronger, now violently shaking the ground, as if something was digging beneath it. Eventually, a loud crash rang throughout the caverns as the entrance of the caved in.
Then, both the rumbling noise and the tremors slowly died down.
