OOC: @Ven Turians have plenty of technology besides mass accelerators though. They have target assisting tech like the Concentration module for example, and Mass Effect guns can autocorrect so that what might just be a glancing shot will instead hit centre mass.

OoC: @Ven Personally, I think Elites and Turians would get along well. Both have pretty militaristic cultures, with the Turians similar to ancient rome and the Elites similar to feudal japan. Plus, their tech would cover each others weaknesses.

The Elite grunted as he was slammed into the floor. He wished he had died, to be wounded and survive...the dishonour. With a roar he pushed himself upwards and bellowed, completely enraged. He charged, firing wildly and hoping for death.
The Focus Rifle armed Elite snarled as his shields went down, leaping back in reaction. He motioned to the other two Elites who ceased firing and cloaked, to slip away and finf a better angle.
The Swordsman was a step ahead however and managed to leap at one, tackling way past the others and rolling into a ditch. He looked at his foe, the Focus Rifle wielder and the pair flared their mandibles in challenge to each other. The Swordsman stood up to let his foe stand up. There was no honour in defeating a foe in such a manner.

OOC @Berk Elite armour features complicated systems that regulate the wearers body and inject stimulants to gradually heal them. I can't really describe how fast Elites move you really have to see it in game to appreciate how agile they are. Sniping Elites is the hardest thing ever, one hit and they start moving and never stop.
@Gear Turians respect differant things. They respect generals who sit at tables and believe in retreat in face of losses and such. Elites would rather die then admit defeat and their commanders have to lead from the front, leading to a high attrition rate among Elite commanders since they always charge into the fiercest fighting.

"Looks like our friends are fighting more of that Swordsman race."

"However, when I dueled him, I could sense something. This is... was his fight. We shouldn't have interfered. He can take care of himself. And its his own honor that we are tarnishing by getting in the way."

Saressa moved around to the other end of the shuttle as Javik fired on the Elite, pistol at the ready. When it charged their position, Javik leaned out and fired a short beam to draw its attention. He didn't expose himself and had little chance of scoring a hit, but it was what Saressa needed. Rising to one knee she braced both elbows on the thrust drive holding the Carnifex in both hands, off to one side where the Elite would have to ignore Javik and turn to see her. Taking careful aim she fired the handcannon three times at the Elite's head, leading him slightly so that the shots would not pass behind him.

Garrus lined up another shot on the sniper but held his fire as the Swordsman crashed into him.

Kragg was breathing heavily as he stared at his wound. Though his primitive nervous system didn't relay much pain to his brain, his vision was turning red as a familiar rage began to overtake him. Hearing the sniper fall quiet, he jumped to his feet snarling.

@Gear: Elites are very much Feudal Japanese. Tactics are cunning, and smart... However our ability to admit defeat is very, very, VERY limited. That trait even continues day!

"Then why did Garrus and Co. jump in?" Austin asked.

OoC: @Rosh Yeah. I saw The Duel and read the Cole Protocol, and there we have elites in kimonos and ninja-like stealth gear, with dojos and palaces reminescent of ancient china, and then there's this ancient Sangheili art.

The Elite stumbled fowards, purple blood had spilled across the floor. He took the three shots, he shield stoppind two before the third hit home. With a grunt he tried to storm forwards but fell instead. He was dead when he hit the ground.

The other two Elites had used their cloaking to get behind their aggressors and now opened fire from them at an angle where their cover was more of a hindirance.

The Swordsman and the Special Forces Elite circled each other. "Why?" The Swordsman began. "Does faith mean more to you than honour or kin?" The other Elite emitted a low growl and produced an Energy Sword and turned it on with a crackle. "So it is death then." The SWordsman said and drew his own Sword. The black armoured El.ite knew he had no chance as their blades clashed with another crackle but he kept trying. He fought his hardest against this..this heretic! He hoped his rage was enough.

OOC: @Gear Halo Legends was a travesty to Halo. The tone and theme of the series just doesn't fit the anime medium to me. I enjoyed the Package and that was it.

"Yes!" Saressa crowed as the Elite hit the ground, then yelped as the needler rounds slammed into her kinetic barrier.
"Damn it!" She cursed as she scrambled over the thrust drive and rushed to get out of the line of fire, charging up and hurling a singularity field in the general direction of the Elites as she ran. Javik too was caught by surprise and threw himself to one sides as the needles began to rapidly deplete his shields. His beam rifle lanced across the field in a wide arc as he fired one-handed to cover himself.

Kragg heard the shots and strruggled to contain his fury, forcing himself to rush through cover instead of charging blindly at the enemy this time.

OoC: @Ven Honestly, I only saw The Package, The Duel and the first part of the third one. That said, I freaking LOVED The Duel. The action, the music, the look of everything... if was a fucking work of art. Ok, maybe the canon was a bit wonky, but holy shit, that fight sequnce with just one Arbiter vs a whole Covie army... that was AWESOME.

OoC: Good point.

OoC: Wait, so where is this?

Heavy charges up to the battle, and spins up his mini-gun.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" he shouts, spining up his mini-gun.

The two Elites leapt back, then returned to firing. The never stopped moving, strafing and dodgeing aside, never letting themselves be an easy target.

The Swordsman had won. Every blow that was sent his way was turned aside with little effort. The Special Forces Elite fought on however and this was the only reason he was still alive. They ducked, swung and parried at eachother with their weapons. The swords creating a clash everytime the weapons impacted.
