The trio of Austin, Noel and Amy still held their weapons at Kefka.

Far enough away William grinned slightly. Excellent.... He was completely free of the restraints that Gabranth had on him, it was relatively easy to break out of them.

"HEY YOU BIG MEANIE! I'M GOING TO BUCK YOUR CLOWN SMILE SO HARD THAT *IT* GOES WHERE CELESTIA DON'T SHINE!" Derpy calls out to Kefka "Trixie! A little help please!"
"Gladly! That creature makes Trixie look like Fluttershy in boastfulness! Claiming to be powerful enough to eradicate all life sounds like a challenge to the Great, Powerful, and Almighty Trixie!"
Trixie and Derpy switch
Trixie teleports inside of Kefka's forcefield "Hah! Trixie's spell worked this time! Now feel the true power! The power of Trixie!" and focuses almost all of her power into a beam at Kefka, then switches back with Derpy

Grace immidiatly ran to Makoto when she fell down and knelt next to her. She picked her up off of the ground and held her close, reliveved to find her alive.I

Also is that the only way to get rid of the protection is to destroy the statues?

Gwen's determination skyrocketed as more energy was poured into her body from her energy harvesters.

Kefka winced as he somehow felt like being shot, but he eventually literally laughed off the feeling.
Trixie's spell was not only stopped, but completely negated as it was used inside the force field. "Ha! Idiot! Using magic in here!"
Kefka looked down at the group and laughed. "Look at 'em drop! That was titillating!
Now... Since it worked so well before, let's do it again! Heartless Angel!" Once more, Kefka snapped his fingers. "Goodbye..."
More faceless cherubs began to decend from the heavens. One more every person in the group that was still standing...

The Trio fired at their respected Cherubs.

Gwen's fury rose as she shot out a powerful singularity to pull and tear apart the energy beings that were the faceless cherubs.
<color=purple>"Not this time." She said, her eyes glowing deep purple and violet.

Pyro too shot the cherub

Grace tried to put up a barrier around herself and Makoto. Gerry tried to shoot the cherubs.

All the the group's counter attacks were useless, as the cherubs continued unabated.

"What? No, this can't be allowed to happen! Jowy, lend me the power of the Black Sword Rune."

Jowy nods and walks over to Riou. As they hold up their hands, a strange symbol appears over their heads and the area is filled with white light, protecting the party from Kefka's Heartless Angel attack and restoring the strength of those previously affected, though Makoto remained unconscious.

With this complete, they each faint.

Luca laughs. "It seems we'll be doing the the old fashioned way." Luca begins to glow with a red aura that grows increasingly larger, until he is replaced by a giant silver two headed wolf. A large red crystal floats in the middle of the heads."Behold the Avatar of the Beast Rune. The hearald of your destruction."

OoC: Okay, so who is fighting?

 

[Slenn]

OOC: Well, I was planning on fighting Kefka.

"You are a HORRIBLE clown! You make everyone sad instead of happy! I HATE sad! I was ALWAYS SAD in flight school because everyone would make fun of my eyes. But not ANYMORE! NO ONE WILL BE SAD BECAUSE OF BIG MEANIES LIKE YOU EVER AGAIN! I WON'T STAND FOR IT, so now I'll sit instead." Derpy sits with an audible *thunk* and a crack appears in the forcefield (I know it should be indestructible, but Derpy + sitting + floor = crack in the floor)

OoC: We're fighting Luca. This is his Final Battle. I jumped to the endgame of his fight as it is late.

The attacks trown at the cherubs went straight through them, but they disappeared when Riou and Jowy combined their powers. Seeing this, Kefka cocked an eyebrow.
"Bleh. How dull... Oh well, you're all gonne die here regardless." Kefka snapped his fingers, and the Floating Continent slowly began falling apart.
"Hahaha. And it looks like you're gonna die with them, Luci-lu. Though do try not to die too quickly!"
Kefka laughed, then flew off.

Erica finally stepped forward, though the sight of the two-headed wolf filled her with dread.

Derpy fell through the forcefield after Kefka snapped "Ack!" Derpy immediately starts flapping her wings, and then flies towards Luca

A giant two headed wolf and an invincible sorcerer who instantly kills. So this is how I die. I always figured it would be slightly more mundane than this. Oh well, no use in going out like a *****. Four thought as she hopped out from behind the rock she was hiding behind.
