"Always is..." Riou says, lying back down. "Why did Four shoot you?"

Bernard looks at Tophat, "Forget? Why make her forget? She has to face her demons, make herself stronger. To forget is to succumb to them." He said.

"I... I'm not so sure. These are bad memories, but... I don't want to lose anything. I know it sounds a little strange, but I just can't let anything get wiped away." She nodded at Bernard.

Gwen led Ratsel into the infirmary. <color=purple>"Hey guys. This is Ratsel of the IS group. She'll be briefing us on taking care of the protective shield surrounding the Peace Walker."

Tophat stood up.

It said, offering a hand to Makoto.

"William picked up my body to block at blast that Four shot." The Trio turned their attention to Ratsel.

Ratsel saw alot of familiar faces and others completely different. The group certainly has changed... "Ah yes, once again. The City of Bern in under a special lockdown barrier. An energy source for the shield is on the Komhausbrucke Bridge. Take that out and proceed to take down Peace Walker. The remaining UN Forces will be taking the bulk of William's forces."

Makoto stood, raising an arm to take Tophat's hand, but stopping at the last moment. "I... I cant. I have to just ignore it. That's the only way."

 

[Chungus]

"Yup! Let's go to my room, though. There you can lay down." Erica said as she left the kitchen.

"There is always more than one way. Regain control over your mind!"

"He sounds like some people I have met." Riou says as he then looks at the new arrival. "And you are?"

"I... no, I can't face those. Please, don't make me..." Makoto's voice was desperate. "Besides, according to Bernard here, I've lost most of my life. I don't have the strength, even if I wanted to."

Ratsel rubbed her temples at Riou. "Did you not hear your friend? My name is Ratsel... And do I have to example everything again?"

Bernard sighes, "I honestly have no idea what to do. How about we chat? Anything you want to talk about?"

Riou shakes his head. "No, I just don't recognize you. It seems strange to have someone just stroll on into the ship and start telling us what we need to do, don't you agree?"
