Winter and Austin decided to stay close to the Mason Sisters and Reimu than guarding the rear. Seems things might be different this time around.
All across the bridge was the scattered and destroyed remains of cars, trucks, and many other motor vehicles. Some were simply destroyed, others were purposely stacked up to create cover for whatever it may be. A soft yellow light can be seen across the bridge, probably the generator.
However, the sounds of soldier boots and mech feet can be heard marching through the bridge, pausing every once in a while.

OoC: @Nail Last I knew she was with Toph near Cairo. Since then, I honestly have no idea what to do with her. And @Drak is kinda clueless as to what to do with Toph.
@Drak I don't know I'm debating. I have a lot of idea's in my head. Bring in a new hero, or save him for another thread. I have some ideas for Riou and Jowy's plot to progress now that Luca is dead... So many things, I can do.

As the Mason Sisters, Reimu, and the Alopex Unit (Thus far, only Winter and Austin at the moment) advanced, a few charred out corpses were scattered around, most of them people desperate to exit their cars.
A soldier peaks his head over a few pieces of smashed cars, followed by two others as they casually looked around. There was still a piece of cover that blocked the line of sight for the infiltration group, but for who knows how long?
