After a moment a sort of warp hole opens in the midst of the orb's energy and two figures get thrown out to the ground. One wearing odd, black and white clothes and the other wearing almost robes.

"And risk one of us landing in the midst of enemies alone?"
"At least, we would have landed rather than being thrown, Jin."

You use the window you hid in tanners ship to get out. You land safely from the decaying world, and unplug the window, then break it. You look around the ship, and walk out.
A large van arrives, and a team walks out. They break up the tables, remove paintings and photographs from the walls, paint every surface white, and carry Steve's corpse outside to the van with the tables, then drive off as if nothing had happened.
