@Saltyk. Run behind a bridge or a building or something. We're in a city for crying out loud. XD Sara also has a diamond shield. (Albeit I don't know where Riou and Jowy are in relation to Sara.)

@Salty: Problem is, nobody is really saying that they are moving... The S-Mines are really easy to dodge if your character is moving.... But nobody seems to do it. Until they get attacked >_>

Riou continues running and runs behind a bridge.

Seeing the gun fire, Riou decides to run parralell to the machine and zig zag a bit to make himself a difficult target to hit. As he does he holds out his left hand. "Thunder Storm!"
Dark gray clouds swirl around above the Peace Walker as electrical energy amasses in the core and then shoots out in a massive discharge of electrical power and strikes the Peace Walker as a powerful bolt of lightning.

Yep, Riou isn't on the move...
Still doesn't save him from a real life example of such things... Simply running away generally doesn't save you from a grenade or explosive, if you're anywhere nearby when they go off.

OoC @Salty: Since when do real-life rules apply to this thread? If that were the case, every character should be pretty dead round about now.

@Salty: Who you rather me have Riou, the only healer in a Bleed-out state? I really haven't reinforced that... Have you seen the S-Mine attacks in Peace Walker? Dodging them is moving the control stick left or right.

Once again, the Warp Field negates the large amount of electrical damage but the back and second lights of Peace Walker start glowing more so. The main head piece light is now a blinding white light.

The main head piece starts emitting a red laser that strikes Sara, immobilizing her. (this wears off after one turn) It stops firing at the group and jumps away, relaunching the Missile again.

EMily feels the current and redirects all the excess lightning charge into herself, building up electricity.

Sara is immobilized, however she takes this round to charge up her energy for the next round.

Seeing the effectiveness of her own space-time bending, Gwen performs the bending again, allowing EMily and Winona a clear shot.

EMily switches from visible to ultraviolet sensory to stop herself from getting blinded.
EMily takes the excess charge from the lighting and energy from the blinding lights and fires a massive electron beam, 5 times denser in electric charge. While Winona fires a volley of Z0 bombs. One of them hits the missile, knocking it away from the group and into the sky, exploding in mid-air.

<color=purple>"Reimu! Fire where I'm bending this Field!" Gwen shouted.

Reimu took a shot with her spirit cards, seeing if this was also powered by souls as well.

OoC: @Nail Maybe not, but some things are universal. And some things are best explained via real life. MGS tries to keep the fantastic nature of itself grounded in reality, to an extent. Sure Snake can survive gunshots and such, but even that is usually explained via some super science concept like nano-machines in his blood.
@Rosh Are you kidding? I was totally willing to let him die from that.

Erica had been taking cover behind a pile of debris while reloading. When she shot out of coverm she saw the Peace Walker charging up for something again. "Oh, come on!"
Remembering that using the power of her Rune was largely uneffective last she used it, she was contemplating just firing away at the Peace Walker, but then she had a idea. She raised her left hand and the familiar symbol flashed.
A tornado appeared, but rather then unleashing it upon the Peace Walker straight away, she traced it across the battle field, alowing it to pick up as much debris as posible. After having it suck up a vast amount of rubble and wrecks, Erica send the tornado towards the Peace Walker, smashing everything it had picked up into it.

OoC @Salty: I wouldn't know. I haven't played MGS.

This again? Did it not figure out from the last time that we aren't gonna sit back while it does that? Well, thanks for standing still at least. Four thought. She hovered in place and focused her efforts on working on weapons targeting, letting her fire a salvo of missiles at Peace Walker and direct her attack drones to strafe its back.

@Salty: I never really enforced those rules, and its three turns to death by bleedout. And with Riou being the only healer available at the moment... >_>

The light on the Peace Walker's main head shatters as with EMily's electron beam as the other lights start glowing more with the Z0 bombs and Reimu's attacks.

The Warp Field as still active, but with one of the lights got, it only reduced damage by 33.3%. The tornado broke another light, when Four's missiles overloaded the Warp Field, breaking it. The attack drones made one of the mech's hind legs break, as it collapsed slightly. Its really damaged at this point now....

But Peace Walker was going to launch its payload unless stopped.....

GROUP 2, ACTION!

Derpy flies higher into the sky, and finds some clouds gathering hail stones. She gathers them together making obscenely large hail, and then kicks them, launching them at Peace Walker at their terminal velocity. Then she launches more lightning.

 

[Saltyk]

After evading the explosive attack from before, Riou comes back out from behind the bridge. "Thor Shot!" two triangles surround the Peace Walker ad spin around it momentarily before forming a star. With this a powerful lightning bolt strikes the Peace Walker.

 

[Chungus]

OoC @Rosh: Actually, Erica can heal. Just not many times. Twice at the very most.

With the Thor Shot and hail... shot (I guess) The payload ends with the giant missile launcher falling off. The Peace Walker itself starts blowing up internally as the main head peace falls off and disintegrates leaving William on his knees, slouched over as he casually throws away his switchblade shortswords.

Seems that they are ready... But one final test... He continues to sit there, smirking.
And here weee.... GO!
Winter, Austin and Amy approached from behind the group.

"Careful..." Winter warns.

OoC: Battle's over... Though what will fate bring us now?
@Nail: Might want to keep that in reserve... Maybe.

Derpy fires a lightning bolt straight into William's skull.

Seeing the Peace Walker fall apart and William emerge from the ball, Erica slowly approached him, P90 trained on him, just in case.
She stopped walking closer when a lightning bolt hit him in the head.

William is thrown back, but continues to live, smirking even more. His entire face is charred as he peels away the skin revealing a mechanized skull, grinning. Come on... I KNOW how much you want to kill me... It'll take much more than that!

The Trio continue to approach.
