OOC: Sorry for the last response, I was distracted by something.
Four's chair fell over, making her smack the back of her head on the floor as the ship was rocked by earthquakes. She sat on her overturned chair, not bothering to get out of it as she rubbed her head. "Why do I feel like that wasn't entirely a coincidence?"

Rio de Janeiro was utterly destroyed by a tsunami...at least, the outer third was. The area of the city under the cover of the tower's barrier curtain wasn't even touched by a single drop of water. Even the earthquakes somehow seemed to have been directed to not affect anything within the barrier.
Curitiba fared not quite as well, but still seemed to have been at least partially protected by an unseen force, drastically reducing property damage.

"No, no, don't blame yourself. It was Kefka that did this, not you. I may not be going anywhere, but I'm allright now."
Makoto smiled, tears in her eyes. "Thank you. Thank you so much." She gave Grace a quick, light kiss.
Grace smiled even more as she kissed Makoto back. "As much as I would like to stay, the only way to get you back is for me to leave..." she said sadly.
"Don't worry Grace, I'll be allright by myself for now. I know I've got you and everyone else out there on the other side."
"Whaa-hahah! That's right! Run away!" Once the Cutting Blade was out of sight, Kefka looked down as several pieces of land were floating towards him.
At other places, pieces of the Floating Continent washed up on shores where upon monsters crawled out of the walls.

Kefka landed on the random pieces of land, the Warring Triad following. He looked around and grinnded. "What a fine site to errect my tower on!"

Hearing the shouting, Erica left the ship to find Dalik, Four and Heavy. "Why's the ground shaking? And why is the sky red?"

Grace nodded. "As I said, I will work as quickly as I can. Do not think I have abandoned you." Grace said as she kissed Makoto and hugged her even tighter.
