Rachel started to charge up another lighting attack, but due the gem's effect the charge was twice faster then usual.

Gordon went behind cover to recuperate and reload his weaponry.

Gwen sent out a dark energy beam to intensely repel the gun-man.

Ignis' leg wormed back to the main body. It reattached without a seam, and the doll stood up. Seeing his puppet was repaired, Relius dismissed it, then signald the airship to pick him up.

A powerful ray of light appeared and struck Relius. Within the light he began to rise up to Shin. The silent gunman simply continued firing at the attackers. He ignored all threat and difficulty that came his way and fired without hesitation or fear or reprisal.

Joe got up slowly, looking at his hand as he flexed it. Everything felt alright, but the fatigue was getting to him. "Thank you, I don't even know you, and you came out here to help me. I'm Joe." He said as he raised his hand for a shake.

Relius summoned Ignis. The metal doll absorbed the lightning, and Relius dismissed it as soon as the thunder had dissapated.

OoC: It is getting kinda late for me... sorry @Drak. We didn't get much done today.

Relius is safely brought aboard Shin and the massive airship flies off while the gunman continues firing.

OoC: So, I'm probably gonna start my endgame soon. Probably have the whole of Saturday tied up with it, though.

@Gear: Yeah, with the site going all wonky all we really got around to was the most basic part of my plot. Oh well. But if everyone still around is up for it I think I can still do one more thing tonight.
Also, I like how @Rosh has just accepted the role of 'honorary lady-folk'.

Rachel's red glow slowly disappeared, as Rachel herself staggered then fell to the floor.
The gem returned out from her chest and she layed there drained of power, her vision was going blurry and she begun to feel dizzy.

Relius...One day...I will....Defeat you.....
Rachel coughs up a bit of blood.

at least Im falling....as...a hero.....
Rachel fainted and fell to the floor out cold, the ruby gem was still in her hand and her new found powers had gone.


OOCeveryone, It very late for me so Im going to leave it there.

@Drak: I noticed.... I just don't care... Plus, this group needs a few female characters, and happen to be one of them to do so. I believe that in the first thread, there was only one female, and that was FemShep by @Random!

Grace frowns at the gunman and taps her staff on the ground, saying, "Barrier." As soon as she says this, a dome of white energy surrounds the gunman, preventing him from shooting anyone.

@Drak: I need to get off soon, that and Joe just got attacked by a hole punch, so I think he's earned a nap.
