A large fissure that had been cut in earth around the tower form there the Light of Judgement had burned through previously. From the bottom, it was appearant just how large the tower was, as the apex could not be seen from the ground. At ground level, at was also all the more obvious that the tower had been 'constructed' out of random debris and wreckages, all willy-nilly stacked on each other.

She started looking around for some kind of entrance, mostly expecting to find a gaping hole instead of a door, based on how the tower seemed to have been constructed.

Gwen would notice all manner of tunnel and hallways inside the tower, though this was largel due to the tower's random 'architecture' and hardly anything actually lead anywhere. The passageways consisted out of pieces from buildings, hulls form ships and airplanes, sewer pipes and bebris that had been stacked ontop of eachother in such a manner that they formed a tunnel.
Oddly, there didn't seem to be any path leading from the bottom to the top, just random passageways.
Finally, there wasn't a way to get inside the tower from the ground. The closest thing the tower had to a entrance was a platform several feet up.

Four noticed the platform she had managed to find and pointed it out to everyone, just in case. She considered trying to climb up, but then realized that it was basically a garbage dump and that there was likely a more-than-she-was-comfortable-with chance of contracting lock-jaw by trying to climb it.

ooc: @Gear It's Friday. I'll try to cobble together a time, but no guarentees. If I play, the time will be literally impossible. With me out, there is a chance I can make this work.

OoC @Slenn: Yes and no. The paths only take the party so far, at the end of the road, there are teleport devices that zap the party to the apex.

Gwen could also detect a anomaly in space/time near the top of the tower. This was likely a teleportation device of some sort. She would also notice the tower defied the laws of gravity, as there would be no way that the tower would remain standing under normal circumstances.
