Austin and Amy approached the group at Kefka's Tower. "Hi everybody..."

"I don't see why not. Might as well try." Four said to Winona. She walked over the the platform and hopped up to grab onto it and pull herself up. She managed to scramble onto it with a bit of effort, then took a closer look at the entrance to see what was inside the tower. "We're gonna try and get a look inside this thing." She said down to Austin.
"Winter, are you gonna finish your cake?" Derpy asks "It might perk you up. Pinkie tends to use a lot of sugar in her baked goods so it might help you stay awake with all of that energy!"
Winter let out a chuckle. "[sub]Whatever the hell that thing was that drained us... It finally started taking its toll.[/sub]" She turned to Derpy. "[sub]I don't think sugar is going to be the answer.[/sub]"

Four would notice a long hallway whose walls were made out of, what else, random junk. Bits of debris were sticking out of the walls were and there. At the end of the hallway, there was a still-working conveyer belt going up, though at this distance, it was hard to see just how far up it went.
On the platform, just before the entrance, something was sticking out of the ground. Something green.

Grace knelt in front of Winter and placed her hands on her shoulders. She then started channeling energy into her.

"Oh, no... Winter, you ever start feeling faint or tired or anything, let someone know, allright?" Makoto munched on another fruit.
"True, besides, there's always the sugar crash that comes afterwards, and that wouldn't be good if you were in danger and had a sugar crash. That would be awful. I'm going to see if the others need help." Derpy wanders off to find Four
"Thanks." Four said to Gwen. She relayed down to everyone on the ground what she had seen. "So should we just go ahead and try going in, or what?" She also asked. Out of curiosity she poked at the green thing with her foot, trying to see what it was.
The energy being poured into Winter seemed to be depleting rather quickly. Curious. Winter nodded at Makoto. "[sub]I'll be fine, alright? Don't worry.[/sub]" she managed to smile back.

Amy continued giggling. "Soooo... You excited about this?" she tried for small talk.

As Grace discovered, Winter's body was simply subborn in accepting more energy, and instead feed the energy to her weapons like the Jet Magnums. It wasn't intentional, but certainly it was annoying.
