We Are Our Avatars III (Ended!)

Winter placed her left hand under her chin hearing what Erica had said. "Well, she is a good friend right? I don't see why you shouldn't... Amy says she needs to head back home, Austin said he'll be joining Noel back to wherever she's from and as for me..." Winter trailed off.

 

[Chungus]

"Well, yes. She's my best friend. But this will be more then just 'Oh, I'll just stay with a friend a couple of days'. This is my future. And from what she described of what her college is like... I dunno. It might not be for me." Erica said to Winter. "What will you end up doing, though? You gonna stay here as well?"

 

[Drakmorg]

"Hmm..." Four hummed as she thought about what Erica said. "To be honest, I'm not sure. Sir Sable asked us to take care of his estate, so I'd assume we would stay there. Not like there's much of a place to stay on this planet anymore...after what all has happened." She said after a while, turning her gaze to the ground, then back up at Erica. "I just want to say, you go wherever you want. I'll miss you if you go with AEanna, but I won't hate you for it if that's what you choose. Who knows, maybe I can figure out more about how that portal thing works and I could come by and visit you sometime...if that's what you choose."
Then she turned to Winter, hearing what she and Erica had said. "And what do you think you'll end up doing?"

"Hmmm..." Winter says to Erica's first statement, closing her eyes. I've never been to college either, and yet I have all the skills beyond that... A simple forgery can be arranged, I'm pretty good at those...

"I think... [sub]I honestly haven't a clue but...[/sub] I want to stay. Here. With you." she says to Four, slightly hesitantly.

 

[Drakmorg]

Four smiled at Winter. "I'd like that. I really would....If that's what you really want to do, of course. I understand you have...apprehensions about something like that."

 

[Chungus]

Not wanting to interupt the conversation between Four and Winter, Erica took this moment to think. At one hand, there was staying with AEanna at the College of Winterhold - a place that promised plentyful variation and exitement, as well as the chance to learn more about her Rune, and even some aditional spell. At the other hand, there was stying with Four at Castlewood - a place that she didn't know anything about, yet would likely feel more familiar, as more of her friends would stay there.
Both Four and AEanna wold have means of vissiting her at any given time, so permanently saying goodbye to either of them would likely not be a issue. Erica was at a loss for what to do. Both options were equally appealing.
But what would make her happier? That was a question to wich she still did not know the answer.

What do I do... what do I do

Winter thought with her eyes closed. She slowly opened them and looked at Four with a smile. "I do. I really do want to stay."

 

[Drakmorg]

Four hugged Winter and gave her a kiss. "Thank you. It makes me so happy to hear that." She said, joyful tears welling up in her eyes. [sub]"...So happy to hear that I won't be alone."[/sub]

Winter returns the hug and kiss Four, smiling. "[sub]You won't be alone... I promise you that.[/sub]" Winter then lightly yawned.

"Today has been... interesting. I'm tired. I'll see you in your bedroom. Good night dearest. Good night Erica." She kisses Four before heading off back to the Tanner to fall asleep in Four's bed.

OoC: And that's me tonight... GOOD NIGHT!

Erica smiled slightly when she saw Four and Winter hug. It made Four happy knowing that she would not be alone, this was something Erica could relate to. Or was it? Erica found herself wondering; being with the other, did it truly make her happy, or was she really content? A question that weighed down on her from the very begining.
Erica's train of thoughts was disrupted when Winter spoke to her. "Uhh... yeah. Good night, Winter!" She waved Winter goodbye, then turned back to Four. "You were worried about being alone again, huh?"

 

[Drakmorg]

"Goodnight love, I'll join you in a bit."Four called to Winter as she left. wiped the tears from her eyes before facing Erica. "Yeah, I was for a while there. Almost made me wish this madness would never end, just so I wouldn't have to face the possibility of everyone parting ways." She said with a chuckle. "Anyway, you know what you want to do yet?"

 

[Chungus]

"I know what you mean..." Erica replied, then sighed and kicked the dirt. "And, no. I don't. Both option are nice.
It comes down to what would make me happier in the long run? And because I don't know anything but staying with the rest and trying not to get killed is all I know, the answer to that is, I've got no idea.
If I do decide to stay with you though, could Valentine stay too?"

 

[Drakmorg]

Four shrugged at Erica. "I really don't see why Valentine can't stay. I let her stay on the ship right now, don't I? It'd be kinda cruel of me to turn her away once all this is done with if she's got nowhere else to go. Might give me a chance to actually get to know her."
She paused and thought for a few moments, then simply said to Erica, "Sounds like you've got a lot of thinking you need to do."

 

[Chungus]

"That's good to know. I've grown fond of her." Erica replied, then scratched her head. "And trust me, this topic is always on my mind. Really, it's been bothering me since day one."

 

[Drakmorg]

"Yeah, I hear that's a tough question for some to answer, 'what makes me happy?'. I guess I'm lucky to have found an answer for that. Unfortunately, that's a question nobody can help you answer." Four said. She paused for a moment, then placed a hand on Erica's shoulder. "Don't worry about it so much though. You'll figure it out."

 

[Chungus]

Erica looked at Four's eyes and smiled, then gave her a hug. "I hope you're right..." After a while, Erica sighed and let go of Four again. "Anyway, I think it's about time we head to bed. Because I don't know about you, but I'm pretty tired.
Good night, Four." With that, Erica walked back inside the ship.
She entered her room, undressed and climbed into bed, falling asleep soon after.

"G'night Erica." Four called as Erica left. She had managed to push what pain was left from her recent injury out of her head for a bit to talk, but once she got unfocused it came back, a little niggling point in the back of her head. She figured rest was what she needed most right now, so she headed to her room, got ready to sleep, then climbed into bed with Winter.

OoC: @Ven Sorry to hear that. I wasn't feeling too good, either, but I couldn't call in at all this week. I had to work despite feeling terrible. And for longer than usual, too. So, I relate.
