A feint blue light shined down on the group. They all began floating up towards the top of the tower, then their bodies began breaking down. Once completely broken down, they reppeared at the top of the tower overlooking the horizon.
Although the sun could be seen coming up, everything was rather dark.

Seeing the others disappear, Riou jumped on the plate to follow.

"That was... rather comforting..." Winter bitterly remarked.

Heavy shook himself off.

Riou, having followed the others, looks around trying to spot Kefka. "Well, looks like we finally found him..."

Four shook off the unsettled feeling she got from the teleportation when she heard Kefka. She looked around and saw that they were at the top of the tower. She managed to hide her indignation. Oh come on! All that and we just wind up in the same place we first got here?

The quartet get their weapons ready.

No one could see Kefka. an odd thing, considdering there was nowhere to hide.
"Really now? You would still fight? The world lies battered, scorched and broken. Why go on? There is nothing left to save. Nothing left worth fighting for. Nothing left to hope for.
All that remains of a burning pile of clay, floating through space."

Winter gives Kefka a determined stare.

It survives, adapts, changes, evolves. It grows in the most uncanny of places, always expanding. And it's a force that not even you can suppress. Because you're just a pig faced clown." Heavy just stands there, ready to kill.

"There is always hope...? Ahahahah! What do you think the people of this world, that is to say the few who survived, are doing right now? Are they rebuilding their homes? No! They are on their knees, worshipping me as a god! I destroyed eve-ry-thing! that suposedly makes life worth living!
There is no meaning in life!" Kefka replied.
