As Erica walked outside she started to hear a sort of humming sound. It felt almost background at first before it started to get more apparent.
It kept up for a while, allowing her to notice it was coming from the ship, more accurately the roof.

Rose was leaning up against the side of the ship near the entrance, writing in her black notebook.
There are times when I really hate this job. I mean, more than usual, obviously.
She picked up on the noise and her ears twitched with curiosity. She started climbing up the side of the ship to see what it was.

Erica looked around when she heard the humming sound. Hmm? What's this then? she closed her eyes and listened more carefully. Eventually, she found that it came from behind her, so she turned around. Seeing nothing special, Erica looked up at the ship. Seeing Rose, Erica waved at her. "Hi there!"
As Rose got onto the ship she noticed that the portal drawing that Joe had made on it was acting up much like last time with Asha's experience. This time however the portal was much more distorted and sparking more frequently.
The humming sound seemed to be at a constant rate at the moment. Still in taking a large amount of air.
@Salty: You were talking about doing this on the next thread, then I said we need characters that actually know/care about Joe, since I don't think he'd last long enough to actually get good friendships made again. Then I also thought that if you wanted to change characters that you could just use a character that would be deemed to be one of the 992 universes Joe visited from WAOA2 and WAOA3.

Rose stopped and clung to the side of the ship as she noticed the portal on the roof. She heard Erica under her and quickly hoisted herself onto the roof of the ship anyway, blushing slightly.
Why haven't I bothered to get anything to wear besides a skirt? Or just anything else to wear at all?
