"Oh, hey there. Didn't know you took the right door too, otherwise I would've waited for you." Erica said to Valentine as she looked around.

Riou could hear the hum of something like a boiler and other likewise machines on the other side of the door, there wasn't a window for him to look through however.

"Jack could have been in that cloud for all we know... our top priority is to find the people who split off from us just now." Bob said to Makoto.

@Gear: Jack is a pumpkin pie, looking quite human as a youngish (25) adult male, he has powers similar to nightmares and Halloween themed.

Riou looks up to Rose and calls up. "I can hear something mechanical. Do you want to keep going?"

Makoto nodded. "Good idea. There's gotta be some sign of them..."

OoC: Wait... this guy can affect nightmares and fear and shit? Hoo boy...

Grace put Makoto on her own feet as she seemed to wake up.

"no worries!" Valentine replied to Erica. "were to now?" she asks.

Rose stopped ascending the staircase completely and turned around to face Riou. "I've got no clue where either of these paths go. So either one is just as decent a choice to go with."

OoC: Oh, sorry. Didn't really know what position Makoto was in. Jesus, I just rejoined and allready I fucked up...

Makoto smiled at Grace as she helped her up. "Thanks."

As Erica, Heavy, and Valentine walked up the staircase the music that had been playing seemed to be getting progressively louder. It wasn't shouting loud or anything just they could pick out the notes easier and stuff.

 

[Chungus]

"No idea. There's no where to go but up though." Erica said to Valentine as she walked up the staircase, not seeing any other doors. "But I think we're getting closer..." She added once she heard the music grow louder.

 

[Saltyk]

Riou looks at the others. "Opinions?"

 

[Wackymon]

Heavy continues to go up the stairs, and readies his mini-gun.

"on wards and up wards then" She said to Erica, as she hummed the tune to herself.

One sec Grandmother had just called

"If I'm correct if we go through there we will end up in Jack's ballroom. If we go up a level we'll get to a higher level where he won't see us." Bob examined the door.

 

[Saltyk]

"That sounds like a plan to me." Riou said as he returned to the stairwell and followed after Rose.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Then going up higher seems like our best move." Rose added in response to Bob. Then she started heading back up the stairs again, seeing Riou start to follow her.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Better head higher then. We'll get the drop on him." Makoto followed the others upstairs.

As Erica, Valentine and Heavy reached a plateau they found a rather large set of doors. Amongst the music playing they started to hear the all too familiar sound of shattering glass coming from the stairway they were on.

As Group Bob, cuz I'm not spelling out everyone there again, make their way up they too can hear the music playing. There was another gangplank jutting off from the stairway. Bob indicated that was the right one.

 

[Chungus]

"I do hope we won't run into this Jack now that's it's just the three of us..." Erica remarked as she walked up the stairs. When the reached the doors and heard the glass shattering, Erica began to slowly walk backwards. "I... don't like the sound of that..." she said with a anxious tone.
