Grace and co go through the portal.

AEanna raised her wards again, but the power necessary to hold off Scarface's energy blast was intense and she cried out as she stumbled back. When the beam terminated she let the ward end and cast a number of ice spears at him as she tried to retreat, needing to conserve the energy that would be wasted by a fireball or lightning wave.

OOC: *whistles* Just listen to that rain. No fieldwork tomorrow I think.

OOC: @Outis Door fragments though.

"Everyone get through the portal. Hurry." Riou waved the other members of the group on and stayed next to the portal acting as a guard.

Grace tried to help AEanna through the portal.

OOC: That's fine, just saying, no barrier fragments.

OOC: Alright.

AEanna accepted Grace's help and began to struggle towards the portal in a fatigued shamble with her, holding back on her next ice spear to save magicka.

The Pie Lord stepped from the portal and grabs the fallen Brain. "So we finally meet at last. You have been quite the annoyance." He ranted at it. "It is time to end your miserable existence so I alone have free domain over the AI's powers."

Erica tumbled through the portal as well followed by Heavy.

"[sub]Help...please...[/sub]" The brain said to the two, still getting more and more pixelated.

As everyone started to head for the portal Scarface rawred and launched at them.

OoC: Unless someone wants to stay I'm good for everyone getting out. I'm pretty sure only Riou is left anyways.

Erica stumbled through the portal, flaying her arms about in a effort to keep her balance and not fall flat on her face again. Once she found her footing again, she saw the Pie Lord grab Joe's brain. Erica wasted no time and fired fired three rounds at the Pie Lord, aiming for his torso.

Valentine jumped through the portal too.

 

[Saltyk]

Riou looks at Scarface and raises his right hand. "Shining Light!" Gree energy rises from his body and rains down upon Scarface. After this, Riou jumps into the portal, hoping that the attacker was either defeated or slowed enough to prevent him passing.

OoC: @Zeph Not anymore.

 

[Wackymon]

Heavy spins up his mini-gun, and riddles Pie Lord with bullets.

@Zeph: So Rose got lost in the portal somehow? Or is she just with Erica and Heavy and you forgot to mention it?

As Grace and AEanna came out on the other side of the portal AEanna straightened up, her magicka already beginning to restore itself during the brief respite. Knowing that she still did not even have the energy to cast the explosive fireballs that she so often fought with, she continued with the icy spears that had been the staple offensive spell of her teenage years, and launched a sublimating shaft at the Pie Lord's back.

OOC: Wait, are we supposed to wait for @Zeph to give the green light on coming through the portal?

Grace and co prepare to fight the Pie Lord.

Everyone is now through into the portal, on the other side Scarface was pelted with Riou's final attack allowing everyone to get through. He then goes to the portal to try to get out, but even though the lock that held Joe's world closed was broken, the rule that Scarface couldn't travel through the portal was still in effect. He was trapped.

The bullets riddled through the Pie Lord, forcing him to drop Joe's brain as it skidded across the ground.

Taking a knee the Pie Lord laughed. He got up and raised the septar, it glowed as all the wounds healed. "Do you really think bullets will defeat me! You may be flesh and bone, but even that guinea pig was able to take bullets without falling." He continued to laugh.

The brain lead on the floor, it looked to be a mess, but still fought to exist. "[sub][sub]...please...[/sub][/sub]"

Riou passes through the portal. And sees the Pie Lord. "Give us back our friend."

 

[Chungus]

Erica strafed around the Pie Lord, heading towards the brain. when there was no risk of hitting her allies, Erica shot at the Pie Lord again, though this was meant more as suppressive fire, and had little in the way of accuracy. When she near the brain, Erica stopped shooting and made a dash for it.

 

[Random berk]

AEanna groaned as the Pie Lord resisted the damage from the ice spear and bullets, then switched to a firebolt spell, a less intense, volatile projectile that would be less taxing to produce. She then hurled this at the enemy while drawing her tomahawk with her right hand.

@Zeph: S'alright.

Rose tumbled out of the portal, a little perplexed as to how she was the last one out when she was the first one in. She stood up and observed the situation. "Make him drop the scepter." She announced before bringing out one of her rifles. She moved to get an angle where she wouldn't hit Erica as she went for the Brain, then fired at the shoulder of the arm Pie Lord was holding the scepter with.

Heavy runs up, and just begins to circle Pie lord, a pair of Holiday punches on.
