"A shower? What's that?" Erica asked Gordon.

"N-no. It's not that simple." She said to Bryce with a weak voice, devoid of her usual zest.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Havn't introduced myself yet. I'm Erica." Erica rached out her hand, offering to shake Bryce's. As she held out her hand, her arm was trembling.

OOC: Hi everybody. Should be on for an hour or so...would have been more but I was sleeping...anyway, should be good opportunity for some character interactions.

Grace and Gerry wake up and exit the Orphan.

<color=purple>"Nope, that'd be my sister. She's blue and well... just blue. Sans her skin and thoughts though. I'm Gwen, one of her sisters. My powers are around gravity and mass."

"You know... like a bath? Clean yourself with water and soap, ya' know?" Gordon tried to elaborate.

"It's always nice to see another soldier though." says Nicole.

Bryce grabbed Erica's hand, holding it steady. "You going to be alright? As a Warden, it would be a shame not to help a lady like yourself." he smiles.

"Hmm. I'll live." Erica replied to Bryce
"So, what's your name?"

Never heard of such a thing. Might as well give it a try, though.
"Are there any of these showers on this ship-thing?" She asked Gordon.

"Well thank ya ma'am. If you'll scuse me, someones tryin ta kill me and they're watchin this ship." He said beginning to leave.

"[sub]...G-Grace?[/sub]" Gerry asked quietly to get her attention. Grace looked down at him. "[sub]...W-why are we...here...w-with these people I mean?[/sub]" he continued timidly.

Grace ground the metal tip of her staff into the ground as she thought. "Hmm...I'm not sure...but we might as well stay with them." she said with a cheery smile...which Gerry did not return.

 

[Slenn]

"Yeah, there's a shower near the small quarters where I sleep."

OOC: I'm going from the benefit of the doubt that since it's a ship, it's gotta have a shower of some sort.

"Bryce Ambrose, ma'am." he smiles. "You absolutely sure about that? I've seen the mandatory age training soldiers that look almost like you after day one."

Nicole shrugs and waves bye at Greg.

<color=purple>"Well, right now my sisters are back in 3021 AD, monitoring my progress, studying and playing with each other. It's been a full year since we've done time travel, and since then our power has increased. So our old time machine couldn't handle the amount of power we have now. So we built a new one. But now that means we'll have to upgrade it in order for the others to come back."

"Hmm...seems like things are quiet right now." Grace said aloud. Gerry simply nodded as he looked around, mostly looking for threats in the area.

Wow...that's really good reason for why the other sisters aren't here yet. Good thinking @Slenn.

"Thanks. I'll check it out sometime." Erica said to Gordon.

"R-right. Nice to meet you, Bryce.
Not sure what you just said, but if I get tired enough, I'm bound to fall asleep eventually, right?"
At least... I hope so.

Grace walked over to Erica. "Did I hear you are having trouble sleeping? I may be able to help you with that." she said excitedly.

"Uhh. Yeah, I havn't slept in two days now.
I'm nearly falling over, yet if I tried, I wouldn't be able to fall alseep..." Erica said to Grace. "How could you help with it?"

 

[Kirke]

Tophat woke up, and walked over to the Big Orphan.

Dio was asleep in the medbay, his armour locked up to prevent him from falling over.

Fenris could contain its excitement no longer. Its keening howl cut long and sharp. A beacon of mortality and an omen for Sergeant Gregory Heart. His death had come.

Greg heard the howl. His previous conviction and resentment evaporated. Replaced by cold terror.

"If you need anything, I'm here for ya." Bryce replied.

Nicole walked over to Bryce, as they sat down in thought about the events to come.
