Rose looked up at AEanna. She was glad to see her again, but it wasn't enough to get rid of her frown. Then she looked back down at the ground again. After a very long pause she solemnly stated, "...Joe's dead."

 

[Chungus]

[sub]"No... I'm not okay..."[/sub] Erica replied, tears threatening to roll down her face once more. [sub]"It's Joe... He's...[/sub] H-he's gone!"

OoC: Sorry, but I gotta go. Dinner.

"...I think...I think my plans for the future...My emotions have clouded my judgment. [sub][sub]My brother's death was so untimely, and so unfair, that I could not accept it...I had so much hatred and bitterness, and those feeling cooled and solidified into a terrible wight on my shoulders...[/sub][/sub]" Grace glances over to Gerry. "[sub][sub]I want the weight to go away...It...it's not worth it...[/sub][/sub]" she muttered quietly.

OOC: I guess I'll go pick my car up from the shop then...

AEanna gaped at Rose and then at Erica, hearing their words, but unable to register them as the truth.
"W-what? But... no, that is not possible! Joe cannot... he could not just..." She trailed off, lost for words. She couldn't see how both Rose and Erica could be fooled into thinking that Joe was dead, and knew they would never lie, but she was sure there had to be another explanation. Any explanation.

 

[Chungus]

Erica stared down at the ground, silently sobbing. Occasionally, a tear would roll down her cheecks and hit the sand.

"The Stickman Is....dead?" She said, shocked by Erica and Rose's words.

 

[Drakmorg]

Rose grit her teeth and balled her hands into a fist. "...Grace killed him." She said, her depression slowly being replaced with anger as she remembered last night's events. She clenched her fists to tightly that her claws dug into her palm and drew a trickle of blood.

 

[Random berk]

"What?!" AEanna gasped, watching Erica and Rose's reactions with growing horror. "Rose, you... you cannot be serious!"

 

[Chungus]

"...She ...what? How?! How could this be Grace's fault?" Erica asked Rose.

"For what reason would she have to kill him...." She asked Rose, in a calm tone.

 

[Drakmorg]

Rose released her fist, causing blood to trickle down her fingers and occasionally send a drop to the ground. "It's the only thing that makes sense...Grace has that knife of hers that steals souls...I don't think she meant it, but that's hardly an excuse." Rose explained, her tone shifting back to gloom.

 

[Chungus]

"No... No! that can't be right!" Erica exclaimed. "She attacked the Pie Lord. How could that have killed Joe?!"

 

[Random berk]

AEanna sat down heavily, looking distraught. There could be no doubt any more.
"Joe... he was one of the best of us. He did not deserve to die." She buried her face in her hands, her shoulders shaking.

Valentine shuddered slightly. "That horrid knife...." She muttered to herself. "so your saying she stole a soul by accident?" She said her calm tone.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Remember everything that Pie Lord said? I guess he wasn't lying when he said he was a part of Joe." Rose replied to Erica. "Yes, that twisted desire of hers to steal people's souls led her to accidentally kill Joe." She answered Valentine, though she didn't raise her head to look at her. She just nodded in agreement with AEanna as she fell to the ground and started sobbing again.

OoC: Back. Wow... Rose really has it out for Grace, doesn't she?

Erica was silent for a while, letting the information sink in. Before hunching over, placing a hand over her eyes. Her lip trembling as she silently sobbed. [sub]"This is so wrong... We were so close! Joe w-was within arm's reach..."[/sub]
