Jonathan nods and takes in a deep breath. He holds up his hands and tethers of magical energy spring from each of his fingers and gently attached themselves to the heads of everyone sitting at the table. He begins channeling magical energy to the group, showing them a vision of what he has divined to occur. "This is the future that shall come to pass if I am not allowed to do my work."
The group is shown visions.
They see people being tortured in every horrible way imaginable. They see a figure doing unspeakable things.
They hear terrified screams, and shrieks of agony. Underneath the sound of meat being brutally hacked apart, they can hear a soft sobbing.
They feel drops of blood fleck onto their skin with each drop of a blade, with each time that flesh is cut free from a body.
They smell rot and decay, the smell of meat gone bad, and that of maggots greedily gorging themselves. The smell is so atrocious they could taste it on their tongues.
The final vision shown is that of the figure standing in front of a massive pile of burning corpses. The figure is illuminated by the flames, making its form finally visible as that of a woman. Her dress is stained crimson with blood. She wears a manic smile on her face in between two seemingly endless streams of tears. Her hair appears a deep shade of red, with bits of purple poking through. Her deep purple eyes are bloodshot and seem filled with sadness and remorse. Atop the pile they can just see, despite being rotting, hacked apart, and engulfed in flames, their own corpses.

Gerry covers his eyes and starts to panic and sob at the visions, as they bring up certain...memories. Grace does her best to comfort him and keep him quiet.
"Okay so you can show us a vision. That's supposed to convince me of the truth of what you say? With your supposed powers, you could simply be making that up to convince us of what you're doing is right. I'm not exactly impressed." Jio says looking at Jonathan.
"So, is this the third person to show us a vision of one of our friends killing us all? Or the second..? Maybe he's the fourth? I've lost track..."

Joe stared blankly as he saw the vision. "One second..." Joe reaches into his head and pulls out a warped and contorted mass of doodle squiggles. It bounced around the table a couple of times before Joe squished it under his fist. "Now that I lost some of the urge to vomit all over the table. WHAT THE HELL HAVE I MISSED!? Why does this 'Jonathan Don' guy think Four, FOUR OF ALL PEOPLE!, could possibly do all that?!" Joe shouted to no one in particular.
"Your naivety threatens more lives than just your own in this case." Jonathan said to Diane as he ceased the effect and brought his hands back to resting on the table. "I assure you, I have no reason to make you think anything I have shown you is false. And evidence is hard to come by in the field of divination."
"Then, I'm prone to agree with Gwen. No evidence means I don't believe a word. Ever consider that maybe you're wrong? Do you blindly believe that every vision you have will come true? You're no better than some fool claiming that God will assist him or defeat their foe. You have absolute faith, but no proof."
<color=purple>"Pfft... you give us a vision through your divination arts, and then you say 'It's all good even though we have NO evidence to support it.' Sheesh, can't you guys think about the validity of what you've seen? Debate about it? Question it before you execute your plans without asking?"
"As a cleric, I'm not one to question faith as a motivator...but to base your decision to kidnap and imprison someone on a vision seems...ill advised." Grace said, trying to be tactful. Gerry continued to sob quietly.
"I once dreamed I was eating a giant marshmallow... [small]Turned out to be my pillow...[/small] But the point remains, 'Never drink 20 Liters of Pop before bed!' [small]wait no that isn't right...[/small] Ah ya! Just because you can imagine it, doesn't mean it's going to happen!.. [small]Unless you're me...[/small]." Joe rambled.
"My visions have yet to steer me wrong in life so far. And of course we do not act blindly, do you think us imbeciles? Since I first received the visions, we've been keeping careful watch on Four. She has shown no signs of swaying from the path that will lead to this future. My visions of her date back to her very arrival, and she has shown no deviation at all from that which I have predicted she will do. This future will be inevitable if I am not allowed to continue helping her."
"If you are so certain of your visions validity, would you be so kind as to tell us how, exactly, Four becomes the monster you claim she will be? Is there any one point you can tell us is the tipping point?" Grace asked.

"Do you really want me to answer that question?" Jio says as he leans forward. "Perhaps, you fail to take into account her own will? I was always told by those that sought his power, that I am Satan. Most of them didn't even call me by my name. They insisted that we were one and the same and that I would give in to his power. Even he said so. But, guess what. They were wrong. And so are you."

Carl Sagan once said 'If our lives are being controlled by a bunch of traffic lights in the sky, why bother doing anything anyway?' So the question remains, how do you know what you're doing is the right thing? What if you're interfering with the outcome? And what's the point in doing something if you know it's going to happen anyway? Have you envisioned the outcome of what you're doing yet?"
