@Zepherus anything which would cause fear in joe. the box is called a nightmare shroud and it is used to instill fear in enemies and the effects vary from person to person but the end result is always the same, a feeling of fear and dread.

"It's fine, kid. You okay? I didn't hurt or scare you, right?" Jio smiles at the boy as he starts the Big Orphan's ascent. It levels out and begins flying towards the volcano.

Still, it's my problem, I'll deal with it." Erica replied to Nicole, giving her a small smile.

Joe looks at the metal man again. He saw visions of the Pie Lord conquering not only his friends, but all the universes that he had seen in the ten years that he had been travelling. The Pie Lord laughed at Joe, behind his colossal army of baked goods and... POP CANS!!

Joe's lightning shield wavered for a moment, before it erupted with even more vigor. "Stay Away!!" He shouted, the echo reverberated on the Big Orphan, as Joe was outside it when they left.

The lightning was much more erratic than before.
