Like I said, villains are more interesting to play, and usually a lot cooler. Just look at Devil May Cry 3. Hero? Smug, cocky, cheesy demon hunter. Villain? Calm, tragic figure with an understandable motive, a likeable if slightly cold personailty and a samuri-esque sense of hounor thats makes it all the more saddening that he cant completly turn over to the side of the angels. Which of these guys sounds like more fun to play?

"Didn't sleep." Erica said to Nicole, looking away from her as she did.

Looking at Erica's mind, Tophat saw her inner conflict. Not wanting to accept help from her friends, keeping herself awake by any means necessary and feeling useless because she lacked the strength to aid her friends, be it in combat or emotionally.
