Gordon's HEV suit was able to protect him with its shielding. Gwen was blinded, but by the time that round was over, the both of them could see fine.
Gwen shouts out like a Valkyrie and with all of her might, she pulls a few of the meteors away with a gravity tug from her hands and shoots them back at Uzzi.
Gordon did the same thing with his gravity gun and shot out a few of the meteors back at Uzzi as well.

Lets just say that he can control either Rock, Water, Earth, or Fire, and only that for 24 hours, and it's powered by some device in his pocket. He can change it if he sets up the change before battle, but can only change once per day.
Does that sound good? Either way, he controlled earth during the fight.

The hand intercepts the attacks made against Uzzi. It starts looking a worn down before Uzzi channels more magical energy into it to make it good as new.

"Mage's Sword." Uzzi summons a magical blade of force to intercept Kalin. The sword appears to fly about and move independently of Uzzi. It parries Kalin's strike, then slashes at his torso.

@wacky you realise rock/earth, water and fire are the basic elements, right? therefor by extent of his powers he can controll everything
OoC: @Silver, but he can only control one at a time, and only the basics. He had to up his Rock bending in order to be able to control metal, which this place is full of. However, anything else he's stuck without control over. Think of it like having three guns, one for short, one for medium, and one for long range. It takes 3 minutes to switch guns.

Grace cast shield and barrier spells to minimize the effects of the explosions. She then cast a spell of focus to make everyone's long range attacks more accurate.

Huh. I suppose I should think up a diffrent method... but in all honesty, I saw no water in a VOLCANO, nor any in the city.
However, wood, he will have no control over unless he has set his device to Water control for a week.
Once more, he has Four guns for four situations, and can only carry one into battle. How does that sound?

I could neverdo that. In fact, I'd probally make things worse.
Anyway. Learning to isolate my mind would be helpful, but I'm not sure about removing the memories.

@Wacky: I don't really like the sound of that. Sort of defeats the purpose of saying he can only control water as a way to nerf him because he'll probably only need one element per fight to exploit that enemy's weaknesses. Meaning he can always exploit the current enemy's weakness.

OoC: Well, not seeing water in a city is kinda your own fault. Every city has water. There are people in cities. People need water. Walk into a city. There will be sewers, pipes, lakes (both man made and natural), so on and so forth. And Jin uses fire, but I intentionally left him out of that since anything that can live in a volcano won't fear fire. I didn't suddenly give him a weapon with a water effect.
