Tophat and Nicole felt a mix of ecstasy and pain as they relived they memory of when Regulus fought Emily, Winona and Laguna for the first time.
They felt the pain it felt as Regulus idly stood by and took all the attacks trown at it.
After taking a barrage of hits, they saw the black aura raising from Regulus and flowing into the bodies of those that opposed it, transfering its pain to them.
They then felt a rush of euphoria as Regulus laughed at Laguna nearly dying from the shock of the sudden pain.
They felt the pain it felt as Regulus idly stood by and took all the attacks trown at it.

"You are dangerous to others. And your willingness to ally yourselves with criminals only makes you more-so. Enough banter. Entangle." Velda channels magical energy into the grass at the group's feet. It starts to rapidly grow into thick vines, then starts to wrap around anyone standing on the ground and constrict them.

OoC: @Rosh The radiating of negativity is basically Tophat's way of staying in control. It sends some of the negativity from the memories away, to anyone nearby.
Tophat mentally sighed as Nicole eased the negativity, but then another memory from Erica hit it and the negativity rose again.
Nicole's body starts violently tossing and turning in bed. In Erica's mind, Nicole's form starts shifting to a darker tone of black. Her figure, her clothes, her everything. But she remains completely calm.
Since Winter was already boosting around in the air, she didn't bother with moving away from the ground. Instead, she spun around one of her swords, as it revealed that it was also a large plasma cannon. She fires at Velda.

"Reduce Person." Velda shrinks to half her size, she's now about 2'8". The attacks sent at her sail over her head. She flies up into the air before casting another spell. "Spike Growth." As the vines on the ground continue to grow and wrap around people, they suddenly grow sharp thorns that pierce into anyone without some kind of armor around their legs.

Tophat and Nicole relived the memory of Regulus and Crucian traveling through the Warp. They felt a feeling of disgust and dread as they witness all the horrors in the Warp. The visions of man hung by a tree, still living as ravens pecked at his guts. A eyeless man, tearing the nose and ears from his face and eating them. A woman who had her skull crushed by what seemed like her reflection in a pool.
They felt Erica's despair as she tried looking away, but couldn't because her bodies where no longer her own.

TPRF launches a crescent blade at Velda's chest, then uses the ring-blades to cut himself free of the vines, and flies up.
Grace uses a barrier to lift Gerry and herself off of the ground and disentangle the vines from them. Gerry fires a few bolts at the now smaller witch.
Rachel spins around, cutting the vines around her.
...you can summon weeds? is that it?

"Haste." Velda casts a spell to speed herself up. She darts around the attacks thrown her way as she continues to fly around. Gerry's bolts slow her down, but due to her Haste spell she is able to shrug them off.
Velda tosses her staff at the ground. It plants itself and she channels magical energy into it. "Changestaff." The staff seems to change and grow, and eventually forms a 24 ft. tall Treant.
It swings one of its arms at Winter, and it swings the other at Rachel.

Gordon's HEV suit is able to shrug off the spines of the roots. He fires his Tau Cannon at the Treant to set it on fire with its white hot energy, if not cut its limbs off.
Gwen slams her fists together and creates a gravity field worth 10 times Earth's gravity beneath Velda and the Treant.
Her neo-steel fiber clothing is able to push away the thorns as well.
