Erica glaced over to Nicole again. The tranparancy seemed have passed.

Kalin's spell halted Velda in mid air. Gordon's shot connected mostly with the black mass, but one shot managed to hit Velda and tore off her arm because she was so small. Then she fell to the ground, not moving while a massive pool of blood formed under her from her multiple wounds.

Grace and Gerry returned and walked over to Velda, Grace ready to finish her off with her knife.
"I used the powers of the Void to see what you had gone through." she said, with a slight business-like tone.

As Velda regained movement she started coughing and wheezing. The black mass faded into her body. She rolled over and clutched the stump of what was left of her arm. "...I failed..." She looked Grace in the eyes and said, "...disgusting..."
