Doctor Com kicks Kaimana in the side.
"Damn. I wanted her to feel how it is to have your mind messed with, for all the times she did it to others."

Diane looks at Four, "Its okay. You had no control over the situation! Heck, unless you knew how to trick her into building up a blockade against you, build your own off of that, get her to break it down, breaking her own, and able to out-mindrape her, you have no reason to feel guilty! If anything, we should be the ones feeling guilty! We couldn't stop it!"

 

[Drakmorg]

"O-Okay...I-I'm still sorry..." Four said to Gwen as she slowly stood up and wiped the tears from her eyes.

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"Take it easy, Four. It's alright." She took her hand and slowly walked out of the house back to the portal.

Grace and Gerry followed the others back to the portal. Gerry decided he would apologize to Four the first chance he got.

Doctor Com and Diane follow them.

Four closely followed after Gwen. She just wanted to keep apologizing, but knew that it would just be a waste.

OoC: I'm off to bed.

As the group left, they found waiting outside the portal on the ship, a small burlap sack. The bottom seemed to be soaked with some kind of liquid, and there was a note attached to it with a knife. Also, the dragon egg was nowhere to be seen.
The note read:
Sorry to cut and run without saying goodbye. Business and such to attend to. Have a parting gift.

Gwen took Four's hand and went through the portal to the Orphan.

<color=purple>"Hey, Four. I know they say it's not your fault that you got swayed and controlled, but I feel like I should forgive you anyway... 'cus you know what? You're still my friend."

Gwen went into her quarters, not noticing the sack. But Gordon took a look at it.

<color=purple>"If you want, you can sleep here tonight. Or would you rather have a room to yourself?"

"Hey what's this thing?" He opened up the sack.

Grace and Gerry made it back to their room and got ready for bed. As they both lay in the same bed, Grace couldn't help but let out a small smile. "With all the spirits we've collected already, we'll be able to complete our plan in no time." she whispered to Gerry as she hugged him closer to her bare chest. He was facing away from her, so Grace did not see the brief glimmer of doubt in Gerry's eyes.

OOC: Going to bed. Goodnight.

"Thanks...I'd rather not be alone tonight." Four said, giving Gwen a small, appreciative smile.

As Gordon looked in the sack, he saw the severed head of Jonathan Don.

Joe let Gwen deal with Four, in his experience the girls had a much better... 'understanding' of each other. He too took interest in the sack. "What's in it?" He asked Gordon.

@Drak: Oh no... I think we made a boo boo...

 

[Slenn]

"Woah. Damn, that's some sinister crap right there." Gordon murmured.
"It's a severed.. head..."


Gwen got undressed and went into bed.
<color=purple>"G'night everyone."

 

[Drakmorg]

Four got undressed and climbed in after Gwen. She cuddled up next to her. She felt nice being back with the group. She let out a happy sigh as she lay there with Gwen.

 

[Zepherus14]

"A severed... head..." Joe looked in the sack seeing that it was Jonathan's. "Wow... didn't see that coming..."

'Neither did he apparently...'

 

[Slenn]

"God man, I don't know..." Gordon thought for a bit. "I guess we can leave it by the doorway at least. It'll let Jio know what happened, he wanted to help get back Four after all... even if the proof is pretty grim in itself..." He propped the bundled head by the doorway.

"I'm headed for some sleep, it's been a busy day for me." He yawned and went to his quarters to sleep.

Beete exits the ship and sees his ship. he sees 2 men looking in a sack. "What is in the....." He is cut off when he see's the head.

Meanwhile!



Beete's brother is in space having a swandvich when a red alert pops up. He leans over his array of keyboards and types like crazy. In the next room his girlfreind comes out and tries to help. "Whats wrong?"
"Overlord is going after Beete!" Beetes brother says and they both exchange a glance.

 

[Chungus]

Erica woke up having after much resistance, finally fallen asleep.
Although she had slept, she was far from being well rested. Being continuously assaulted by nightmares, her mind was just as waeried as the day before.
Erica groaned as she trew the sheets aside and moved to the edge of the bed. She looked at her right arm wich was now nearly covered in sore bruises after having been pinched so much. Erica got up and wrapped her makeshift bandage around her arm to cover the bruises again.
Having secured the bandage, Erica got dressed and left her quarters, heading to the kitchen to make some coffee.
